So Ada’s scenario is unlockable after you beat the other three scenarios.

Slowly but surely Capcom is doing it smart. Slowly…

EDIT! Kusanagi02! Why didn’t you mention the other stuff!

**Agent Hunt Mode: **This is the same Famitsu feature that revealed the game’s Agent Hunt mode, where you take control of a creature and enter other players’ games via online play. Your goal is to defeat the player-controlled agents.

I can’t wait to fuck someone’s game up! With this, Mercs (Merrrrrrrcccsss), and other I’m sure soon to be announced crap there seems to be a lot of replayability already built into RE6. So if costumes and new Mercs stages are the only DLC then Capcom might have dodged screwing the pooch this time!

More info on Resident Evil: Damnation. The events of the film takes place just before RE6 according to the director.

We got three anti-bioterrorism organizations around at that

Wait…what??? This 100% sounds like they’re ripping off Dark Souls in a way with the whole “invasion” aspect that game had. Well whatever to that I guess, I loved invading and destroying someone’s “happy adventure” in that game and it looks as though the same will be done in this one…interesting…I wonder what creatures you can take control of?

If you go to the RE6 thread there is a video and it shows the player controlling a Javo that goes through two transformations. I imagine it’s whatever humanoid like enemy is in the stage.

When I heard of Agent Hunt I was reminded of L4D’s VS mode. The goal of Agent Hunt is more in line with that than Dark Soul’s system.

Yeah that’s a very good comparison to make too. It reminds me of Dark Souls because as the “invader”, you can join someone’s game whenever you could and you essentially become another enemy in their world, which is what’s sounding like how this mode is going to be although different in its own way as well. So knowing that, it’ll definitely make for interesting playthroughs, hmmm =).

This could be extremely rage inducing on professional, since in RE4 and RE5, with the tactical vest it took 2-4 hits depending on how much you maxed out your life. In RE5, if you got in the red and your weren’t standing next to your partner, the bleed out is a few seconds. I wonder if they would have incentives to keep playing the campaign over, like a score/time attack.

I imagine they will. Has there ever been a major RE that didn’t track your time? And didn’t both RE4 and 5 track score?

Man, I sure hope they’re going to give you the ability to have a positional advantage, like in L4D. No way am I looking forward to fighting someone like Jake on equal ground: not to mention the counters that anyone else has. The AI / person in the video for Agent Hunt Mode was being super retarded. Hopefully, you can spawn anywhere.

I haven’t played Dark Souls yet. What is the “invasion” mode like in that game?

Well in Dark Souls to invade people you have to join a certain “covenant” or use a special item(can’t reveal either it’d be spoilers =P) but basically, you can do it in any area you want, the game is an RPG so when you invade you invade people 10% around your level and/or higher. You can only invade someone who hasnt killed the boss in the area your trying to invade as well. When you DO invade someone, you come into their world as a “dark spirit” and the host is also notified you’ve entered their world, and your objective basically is to kill the host before he reaches the boss. Some areas in that game you can have another dark spirit potentially invade to help as well, or sometimes even fight OTHER dark spirits, including you!. Yeah, the game is crazy like that lol. Love that game.

But yeah, that’s what im looking forward to with the new re6 hunt mode. I’d actually really like to see how it plays out with that.

Demon Souls the spiritual prequel to Dark Souls you don’t need to join covenants, you can just evade at will but the level restrictions apply. In Demon Souls the servers were dedicated so you had an easier time trying to purposely co-op with a friend even though that wasn’t an intended feature. Dark Souls went peer to peer and it made it harder to intentionally find a friend to co-op or invade with. I’m guessing RE6 will be peer to peer but this new mode is interesting.

I’m a little late to the party but I picked up RE: Operation Raccoon City and its about what everyone says. Prolly a 4.5/10.

I usually try to get most of the achievements but getting an S+ grade on all levels on professional seems impossible.

Also, what’s the deal with the Heroes mode in multiplayer? I’ve played a few matches and have no idea what the hell is going on.

I dunno a whole lot about the finer points, but from what I gathered everyone has a hella lot more life than they do in regular MP. Each player starts with one of the more “well-known” RE characters. Once they die, they can only respawn as a Wolfpack/Echo Six team member. The first team to lose all their famous characters loses the game.

Looks like the achievements for the rumored RE: Revelations HD port may have got leaked…

is this disc or download?

^No one knows yet. It hasn’t been announced officially anyway.
