Thanks. I’d still like to see a Separate Ways type of game for him though. I mean after he dropped off Sheva and Chris in the boat. Where the hell did he go and how did he manage to cop a helicopter?

Making it a PS3 exclusive sucks but whatever. One of these days I will get the system. Will it only be released in Japan also?

Josh said in game he was going back to base to inform the superiors that the team’s were dead and the mission was still ongoing, then gets ready in preparation for extraction. I don’t believe he runs into anything, but they could do a little DLC with him getting back I suppose.

Hmm Spencer Estate, as long as it’s not the same one in RE1 it’d be great, explored that Spencer household way to much. It’d be interesting to go through the Mansion he has in 5 with a boss fight lead up to Wesker. It be easy enough to incorporate Zombies, Hunters, and whatever else in Spencer’s domain to both please fans and give a few possible scares in a Resident Evil game. 5 Didn’t have like, any.

If it’s DLC I might not sale my copy now.

The design looked just like the one in RE1, including the main hall and dining room however they could have pulled a kojima on us though. Any excuse to bring wesker back I suppose

RE4 was filled with small bonus content but seperate ways was the most noticable…im guessing it will be a another RE5 title instead if they go the route of doing Josh’s seperate ways or a flashback of RE1…I would like to see the side story of dechant,kurt, etc. bravo team due to the fact that they were stationed in Africa before Chris arrived and already dealt with some Majini…

Well in the trailer it had a scene when Wesker confronts Chris and Jill, frame for frame until Chris and Jill do the back to back pistol pose. Also the costumes are the same one’s in RE5, meaning it’s not a S.T.A.R.S badge on them (Chris’ might, due to it actually being that one. Jill’s I don’t think was her S.T.A.R.S but designed similar to it). Still it could be, but we don’t know how this Mansion Spencer had in 5 looked like in the interior, it’s possible he had several homes designed similar to the Spencer Estate. While that was a “One of a kind” it’s possible he emulated a few things in his other places.

Still, wait and see. Where does it say PS3 exclusive anyways?

maybe they just decided to randomly screw each system, and swung over to the ps3 side for now.

Capcom is talking about removing what made the series really fun (everything 4 introduced, and 5 improved on) and going back to the way the series used to play (annoying puzzles and clunky mechanics for everyone. yay.) for Re6.

Did anyone get RE5 for the PC? I’m kinda interested in buying it, so I want to know how it is.

I’m not going to lie, 4 and 5 were nice detours as far as the direction of the series goes, but I played REmake recently and I honestly miss puzzles and tank controls. I want zombies back.

I’d be thrilled with a combination of the styles. I hope puzzles, backtracking, ammo conservation, and the like come back. We don’t need those silly camera angles or anything, though.

Take 5, add zombies, darkness, narrow halls, and puzzles; subtract ammo, enemies with guns, and the store system. Awesome.

Also, Capcom needs to get out of the damn stone age. There’s no reason why the character can’t walk while shooting. I’m not talking about full speed fps style strafing of course, just slow walking.

And get rid of the fucking run button. Games have had analog movement for years.

Adding the ability to move while shooting removes the challenge from RE. Even if its a little walk it will make it seem easier. Spencer Estate in the Alternative Edition should have zombies instead of Manjini. We shouldn’t deal with a Plagas type enemy this time around.

Then the game needs to be made harder. Most people stand and shoot, turn straight around and run a few paces, and repeat. That’s retarded.

Just make the majini run towards you without stopping. In both 4 and 5, the enemies run up to you, then come to a dead stop. Having them actually be aggressive will more than balance being able to walk and shoot.

I still enjoy all of the RE games, but its controls are so dated its ridiculous.

I’ve had a few instances of the Manjini running up and going into that wicked overhead attack they do, without a pause (Unless it was very brief). I also don’t mind which control style we get, as long as Horror elements return. Zombies I’m fine with or without, I just want to be scared again and have some more B-movie moments.

Also where the FUCK is my Barry game? RE6 should be all about Barry and his Magnum fighting zombie crime. We will pretend the Game Boy Color one didn’t happen for the sake of Barry’s reputation.

I should buy premium just to rep you. I need to know what’s up with Barry and that .44/.357.

Honestly though, despite the suck that was the Dead Aim and Survivor games, I would kill for a good Resident Evil FPS. Make ammo scarce, find a way to limit movement speed, make some cramped environments like hallways to add a challenge, make zombies take massive amounts of bullets to die if not headshot, and there could be potential for a solid game.

I think they should have Chris suddenly awaken inside the prison cell in the sub-basement of the mansions when he was captured by Wesker in RE1, realizing that everything was just a fucking dream. Sheva, his sister Claire in Raccoon City with Leon, everything…

I wish they would just remake RE2&3 with up to date visuals, like they did with RE1. Maybe add some minor things, but keep the foundation the same.
