I rape Versus in all modes, especially Slayers haha. Had a couple people ragequit on me/us already.
So why are y’all saying Wesker is so good in Versus? Looking at the leaderboards, I’m seeing some STARS Wesker, but not a lot of Midnight Wesker, and a pretty large amount of Nina Williams and the two shotty Chrises.
That fight is actually better with the AI, since you can give it the S%W 5000, and it’ll never miss the device on Jill’s chest.
If you’re afriad of AI fucking up anything else, load up on G-Launcher and Flash Rounds. I solo-ed that level and did fine. Only level I needed a partner was Ndesu
I have to completely disagree.
I tried to beat that fight on pro…Sheva ran straight at Jill and died every time, before I could revive her.
It was maddening…happened about 20x in a row before I threw my hands up in disgust.
I still haven’t beaten pro, but only because I’m too lazy to go to that whole fight again with a partner.
I love the game, I just don’t see the point of beating it on pro…its not like you get anything supercool.
**Me and a friend are working on pro. We got the classic horror filter on. Sitting there trying to kill stuff on split screen on my 40" and can’t see the infrared beam for nothing in the world.
Then we got to Jill/Wesker. James…WASN’T NO FUUUUUNNNNNNNNN! Either i’d get tossed up by Wesker or my friend would kill Jill some kinda stupid way.**
Yeah, I LOVE the B&W filter, but it makes the laser pointer practically useless.
Shame too…since I think the game actually looks better in B&W.
Haha, yep. AI kept doing that to me too. Here I am trying to deal with Wesker and he would just run towards Jill and get shot the fuck up every time. I finally said eff it and used a Rocket to get through the first part of that.
I play with the noise filter myself.
I think that both AIs behave somewhat differently. I really wouldn’t know, since I havent played Chris since I got the ability to play as Sheva.
See if the Jill fight’s easier when Chris is AI.
And yes, I did use infinite weapons. I could probably do it without, but it’s a chore with infinite at times.

Seriously will someone explain why both Weskers are so broken in Versus mode please? I don’t really see it when I play him, and the Leaderboards don’t reflect it either.
Just finished the game this morning. I couldn’t believe the final fight too place in a fucking volcano. LOL.
It was a bit of a disappointing fight although he did kill me twelve times. Going back tomorrow to find the remaining BSAA emblems and start purchasing new weapons. I’m dying to use the Hydra and long bow.
Funny thing happened to me today: I went back looking for one of the BSAA emblems in episode 2-2 (I think), where you fight your first chainsaw maniac? I shot the fuck out of this guy with my fully upgraded Ithaca M37, he dies and drops the guards key, I pick it up… and he got back up and killed me!
He was lying flat on the ground, and (pretty sure I’m not crazy here) he gets back up and starts to wildly slash at the both of us. Unfortunately both of us were already in the red and he killed me. WTF?
Has this happened to anyone else? Glitch maybe?

It depends on the difficulty grade you’re playing on. If you are kicking ass, the game gets a little harder. On Normal, he’ll get up if you’ve breezed through the previous levels. Vet and Pro he always gets up. I must admit he got me when my back was turned on my first Vet run. I thought a second one popped out. :annoy:
Huh, I didn’t know that. I was playing on vet, and yeah it was a pretty easy fight this time. I’ll have to make sure he gets put down for good next time.

Is 40 the achievement? I could have sworn I got 48 the other day… Or does this only apply to versus?

I’m pretty sure it is not 40 melee attacks, but getting the combo counter up to 40 in Mercenaries.
