I gave in and got DLC…Suvivors I don’t care for but slayers free for all is actually fun. I didn’t know you could kill other players. Usually I run around a corner of the map and make small combos there only to take out someone who dares come my way. will try teams later.

It’s also stupid how there’s only 150 zombies. Me and this random guy killed all the zombies with like 3 minutes remaining in Public Assembly.
Our score was only 222k though. I guess our combos sucked or something.
Three minutes left is not really a lot. Combos come in second to finishing fast. I like mercs. It is fun trying to actually get up there although sometimes it gets frustrating.

So I take it mercs unlockables only work in 1 player?
unlockable characters? you need 80k in duo mode and 40k in single. better off playing solo because most people online doesnt have a clue and you would be wasting your time. I tried playing with random people but it was just annoying so I unlocked everything myself.

Got my online back yesterday. I’ve only played RE5 3 times in the 3 weeks I’ve had it, but I DL’ed Versus anyway. Pretty fun, especially since I got my hands on the grenade/rocket launcher. Rape. I was actually cringing a versus with stop-n-go gameplay beforehand, but it wasn’t so bad. I think the mode encourages you to set traps for you opponents, utilizing the map and limited mobility you know the characters have. I still think a slight run-n-gun would be beneficial. Not to the extent of Outtrigger or The Club(since it is RE afterall) but more like, walk-n-gun, lol.
I only played one match because I haven’t even beaten the game yet. Next I might see how the online co-op is. I started Veteran and I think im on Chapter 3-2 or 3-3. Not sure, haven’t played it since last week.

Gawd I was playing Team Survivors on the stage that has a million stairs and ladders and seriously all I’ve been dying to was Jill’s machine gun and trip mines. Fuck that shit. I paid 30k for bullshit stars Wesker when I can just buy both Jills and easily kill a dude with a machine gun.
3.5/10 on this DLC… GRRR. I’ll play this game again if they ever come up with new merc stages or it would be cool to add a 4 player merc game type.
So out of nowhere, I started playing Mercenaries a few days ago and started getting A’s on everything. Still got more to unlock, but i’m making progress now.

Did you do it with or without infinite weapons? Cuz with infinite weapons isn’t too bad. Just give the AI an infinite Lightning Hawk and infinite S75.
Pro is fine until the jill/wesker fight.
That fight is bullshit on pro, even with a skilled companion.
