At the end of the day i just dont really care. Enough said. When i have the game ill play it and decide whether i thought it was good or not. Going off the demo i feel that its good enough for me to buy. I dont care if the reviews are good or bad. Im not going to complain about little shit. People are just going out of their way to say they think or feel its a bad game. If you feel that way, cool. Dont buy it…but im not going to let some random dude giving a review decide if i should play it or not. That was my point. Im not saying the game is perfect or even good (hell idk yet) just not going to rule it out bc the masses say so. Thats sheep mentality.
I think umv3 is bad. I think doa4 is a bad game…afaik those games got pretty good reviews and sold pretty well.

I did buy RE:ORC but that was because I was on a RE dry spell…I beat it in two days and sold it the third day for $15 dollars less than what I paid brand new…
Of the reviews I read, the Gametrailers one reflects my view on the game the most. Gamespot review shitting on Jake’s campaign for being mostly running felt stupid. The whole point is that your being chased by an unstoppable monster. Of course their will be tons of running. All the quick time events and needing button prompts to do something does indeed suck.

We’ve spent close to 30 pages going “This looks like a mess” and pointing out all the various ways it looks like a mess, and now that reviews are out and they say “Boy this game is a mess” suddenly their all stupid reviewers and they shouldn’t be paid attention to even tho they have played a game we haven’t?

RE5 came out with a gold edition with all the DLC included at a reduced price, you can’t complain with that I guess.
You know what’s really sad? I’m not getting DmC but it’s probably going to be the more polished game since it thinks inside the box. Also there are only a handful of people on SRK getting DmC but some are obviously trolling and have no intention of buying it. That being said I’ll take unpolished RE6 over DmC anyday lol.
in one of the merc stage, there is an arcade with darkstalkers and 2 other capcom games.
felicia and morrigan are fighting on morrigans stage but its only a screenshot.
anyways, this game is really detailed, especially the China stages (based on Hong Kong) where they capture the grimeyness.
Still though, the graphics is not as crisp as resident evil 5 and a lot of the cut scenes looks really pixelated. This could be either just the xbox360 version or me setting the brightness to max or even a combination of both. I’ll get the ps3 gold version to see the difference in the future.
God damn this game is monotonous. Ive tried real desperately to like it, but continuing to play it is just making me hate it more. I do miss the olden days of Resident Evil. Its just TOO on rails these days. Everything is so scripted. It has its freaky moments, Leons chapter on the train tracks, when you see the shadows of the zombies running around the corner. God damn. But these moments are just too few and far inbetween.
There is simply TOO much action. Its one big action ride throughout. When there is a chance to build tension, it will only last a couple of minutes. No bigger picture, its a few minutes of tension then back to 1 hour of on rails a to b. And I dont know whats up with the overpowered melee. Whats to be scared of when you have that UFC spinning heel kick KO on command? :s
Really wanted to like it, its not 4.5 bad like Gamespot say. I cant see it being above a 7. The gameplay is just not fun, its overly repetitive, and when its not being that, its being annoying. QTE’s, QTE’s, QTE’s and the MOST uninspiring downright dull puzzles known to man.
Not much good to say about it unfortunately. I dont think people will vote with their wallets, but I hope it makes them wait beyond buying on release day the next time. I cant pre-order the next one incase it is more of this shit.
