I agree, that and so many other games. Uncharted has as much a right as any to be at the top of that pile. When I first played Assassins Creed I thought the climbing sections were amazing, but you soon realise there is no sustainability in games without gameplay. For the gamer!
I’m a big Uncharted fan and got the Platinum trophy for every game but damn 3 was a let down. When ND said they wanted Uncharted to be a movie they went as far as to make the 2nd one the best and the 3rd the worst. Now that’s dedication!
Uncharted 3 was worth it for the ability to toss back grenades and Charlie Cutter. That’s pretty much it unfortunately.
I’m gonna pick this up tomorrow because I actually like the gameplay mechanics from the demo. I heard that the game doesn’t explain a lot of the new stuff in the game and there is a lot, in the tutorials levels. I was expecting the main campaigns to sort of be bloated and have bad qtes, but I’ll think I will still go through them all even on professional (is it possible to play it like this on 1st run through?).
How good is mercs mode for those who have it? The vids of mercs mode actually look fun with all the different mutations and even random strong monsters that walk in (they give you a warning on the radio and then the monster like the giant might barge in). Is agent hunt also available to invade mercs? I’m actually looking forward to this part the most.
I think it’s good to have your own opinion on games, but when nearly all of the reviews point out the same glaring flaws, you have to recognize a turd for what it is. Poor resi evil =/
That is actually true, in the Capcom ustream vids they give some explanation on the cqc system. Turns out there are a ton of options, especially with Jake. There seems to be a lot of variety and Mercs will probably end up being the best thing about RE6 from a gameplay perspective. I’m betting hsypersakura will probably have some pro videos up of mercs. I remember this player having some great vids in RE5.
Didn’t follow any of the pre-release press or info. Even watched Damnation to prepare for this, now I find out the game is getting shitty scores. Checking out the thread I see people didn’t really like the demo either. Guess I’ll wait for PC version and watch the latest live action movie in the meantime.

Yeah I bought Raccoon City, multiplayer was fun for a few days and traded it in. RE6 is much better than that though, MUCH better.
I’m not feeling how Helena is always put into a position where she needs to be saved by Leon. It makes her a load.

Not surprised at bad reviews, going off the demo. I’m still buying the game tomorrow or wednesday, though I can’t give a good reason why I am. Maybe I have hopes that it won’t be as bad as it seems. Regardless, I’m looking forward to buying it and complaining about how bad it is.

Considering she’s a lead character I expected the same level of awesomeness of a Jill or Claire. Being as good as Sheva would have been fine too.
Good point. They did give us those three. Though Sheva needs to strike out on her own to prove if she has what it takes.
