So is this how the next weeks going to play out? Say every good score is Capcom propaganda and wait for the INEVITABLE one or two bad scores and have a field day? So far the game has gotten 90/100 and 9/10 and rumored famitsu score in the high 80s.
Gametrailers is going to give them a good score which is one of the few reviewers that still keep it PRETTY GOOD. What was the last undeservingly high psm score given out?

Considering how a good chunk of people have a hard on hate for all things Capcom, its kind of hard to think that these people will stop and be objective about their thoughts on a game.

I been gave up, the game is enjoyable for me and my buddies, and thatās all that matters. If other people donāt like it, fine, their loss. If they wanna take precious time out of life to bash a game they hate on a thread about said game, let em. The rest of us can enjoy it. People who already made up their mind to hate this game (legit reasons or not) will not be convinced to sway their opinion. I like Classic Game Room and CGR:Undertow.
Mostly because they talk about the game as a whole instead of segments like story, graphics, gameplay, etcā¦

RE6 is going to be hype as fuck.
They took the stiff controls and the back +B turn around function idea from RE4 and made it even more hectic looking by adding the desperation crawl and other shit.
How crawling on the ground while hurt doesnāt add up to survival horror is beyond me.
The game is making strides from what Iāve seen so far, but what do I know, Iāll probably be buying DmC, because I donāt give a shit about the past.
To risk derailing the topic, I agree with Capcomās decision to change the look for at least an alternative universe for Dante.
I mean, think about it, DMC 4ās hero was Nero, and he basically looks exactly the fucking same as Dante. I half expected there to be some time travel younger Dante shit.
Makes me wonder if people would have bitched about Nero looking like DmC Dante if Nero just looked like him in DMC4. Yeah, the Devil Bringer was cool, but that could have just been another weapon for Dante.

I wish Nero had different hair color. Thatās it tho. I like his design quite a bit and his personality is pretty different from Danteās as well. But it sounds like youāve only played 4 so yea you probably do think they are a lot alike, tho even then thereās a good bit of difference even in the way they taunt people.
Ironically DmCās Dante is a lot like Nero from DMC4. Heās quicker to jump to cussing like Nero is, his insults are aimed more at hurting you emotionally, picking on character flaws like Nero. Even his coat is the same color as Neroās, Blue on the outside Red on on the inside.
Is it me or did the RE6 demo have lighting issues. I felt that the game was just too dark (especially in Leon and Jakeās campaign). I hope they add at least a flashlight feature to the guns or brighten it a little.
It was just you. The lighting is probably without question an amazing highlight of the games appeal.
Now on that note, you can adjust the brightness based on the tv you have in options because it just may very well be too dark to actually see. Still, at the brightest the game will still throw you points that are really dark and intentionally difficult to seeā¦another reason arguments regarding tension and suspense are at most, minor opinionated quirks.
I also didnt like the Nero character, and if you notice after DMC was announced Devil May Cry 4 magically turned into this amazing game and not the game that showed little innovation following Dmc3. Even more of a reason to take this Resident Evil ranting with a grain of salt. The guys exactly right Nero was made to make dmc āfreshā and yet you introduce a character thats ridiculously familiar to Dante to the point of looking like his son, with the carefree rebellious DmC3 āyoung danteā attitude to boot. It was just familiar enough to still be different and when you get games like RE6 and DMC that push that to the limit you get so many naysayers who think they are owed the explination of a change in creative direction.
After all the sequels ive played over the years i literally always expect a sequel to throw in some kink that takes thr series in a completely different direction. But heyā¦
Nice interview with Leons voice actor. No real spoilers but apparently theres lots of horror and atmosphere we have yet to see and Leon still is horrible with women. I like how he described the character, the role suits him well.
