Resident Evil 6

Will be copping…when is the patch coming out tho?

I’m looking forward to survivors most, I have faith that it will be amazing…

Yo SRK, few questions I must ask before I get this…

Is there replay value? Where is the replay value at?

Is there local Multiplayer?(huge huge determining factor)…

Is there any of those horrible rail shooting portions like there was in RE5?

^^cop it bro, it should be like $30 bucks now and then get the new DLC thats coming out this tuesday the answer to your questions is yes if you asked this question a month ago id say no

As of now, it’s meh, but with the new DLC coming in it should be pretty damn good for replay value.

Uh yeah…pretty sure there’s local multiplayer. I’m not 100% on it, but I think there would’ve been more of an uproar around here about it if there wasn’t.

Yeah…there are, but personally I don’t think they’re as obscene as the one in RE5. Your call though.

The replay lays in hunting for all the emblems in the campaigns, Mercs and Agent Hunt modes

This is local multiplayer. In the campaign you have to select your options before you start. The choice for split screen is present there. It’s also available for the other modes

There is. Jake and Chris campaigns have them

I forgot about Jake’s version. I take back my previous statement. They are as annoying as in RE5 if not moreso.

RE5 had it once so yeah it’s more annoying.

For those interested, the PC version of RE6 now has a release date.

March 22, 2013

PC System Requirements and info on the Jan 22, 2013 patch coming to consoles

The patch is available now. Gotta go check to see if the camera’s field of view stop being ass

You do that and report back. I…am too lazy to do it.

I’m playing around with the new camera settings. When you load up the game your greet with the patch notes. How nice of Capcom to do. New camera options allow you adjust the camera’s field of view for the default camera, FoV of the camera when aiming, the position of your character when aiming. Each has dialer of 0-15. The default for all three is set to 0. It makes a world of difference. Just setting the FoV to 5 on both the default and aiming cameras I was actually able to see the left side of the screen (Right if your a leftie). Setting the position further pushed the character to side. When I aim now my character won’t block the view anymore. I’m still tweaking the FoV to find a sweetspot I’m comfortable. Unfortunately, the FoV settings isn’t available in the in-game menu so you’ll exit the game if you need to make an adjustment.

Well tell us when you find said sweetspot so we can all put it as the default.

I doubt my FoV preferences will be to everyone’s liking. I’m trying to make the FoV as close to RE4/5 as best I can

True, but at least it will save time for everyone due to having to quit the game to adjust.

Wait, Capcom listed the Patch Notes to something? That doesn’t sound like them at all…

Conspiracy!

I think that’s what we all want haha. Only the thing is you have to account for shoulder switching.

It’s not so much “worthless” as it is too late. It’s like they are giving it features and things that RE5 had from the very start to make up for how botched the rest of game was. It’s clearly Capcom’s fault for rushing the fuck out of this game’s development and not letting it marinate longer. That’s what they get for trying to beat their own deadlines. If this would have came out in February or March against DS3 imagine how good it could have been.

lol hey at least they’re trying…

But the thing is, none of this is on disc…

If you try to play this years later, you’re left with an inferior game lol…

They better hook this up on disc by default lol…

Also RE5 was kinda bad… I’m sure that this game did at least a little better lol…

RE4 was the tip of the iceberg for the series imho…
