Dude is all over the map. Early reports were that he had a relationship in the past with the shorty he killed, but maybe not since he says he is gay, or maybe it was a strong friendship that she ended. But he goes from jehovah told him to kill, to being mad about dylan roof, to bigging up mass murderers, to antagonizing a race war, to then playing the victim of abuse from black men and white females, and being sexually harassed and racially discriminated against.
Sounds like he was an all over the map, ticking time bomb of frustration. You never know who they are sometimes, and even if you thought it was highly likely they might, police cannot just arrest you because someone thinks your crazy. Its just the fucked up shit we have to deal with as a species on this planet.

So the nonexistent mental health care system in America failed again. Wow. What a huge surprise that is; I’m so utterly shocked that I’ve circled back around to dull surprise.

Why are you so mad? Him offing himself saves a bunch of time and taxpayer money. Literally the only thing to be angry about as far as him killing himself is that he didn’t do it before he instead killed these two other people and also shot some other unfortunate woman who was just there; at least she isn’t dead (yet).
No need get mad over not being forced to waste at least decade giving him a life cushier than most homeless or poor people have. Just dig a hole and throw his dead ass in the ground or burn him already and be done with it.
We’re not sure if Flanagan was even diagnosed with a mental disorder. In other words, he either didn’t know what was really going on in his mind or he decided on his own that he didn’t need to get checked up by a doctor. You can’t force a man to seek mental health if he doesn’t want any help at all.

The news director that hired and fired him noticed that there was something wrong with Flanagan on his first day of work at WDBJ.

Do you know how much fucking time, money and resources gets wasted on death row inmates? Even the ones who are actually guilty of what they’re sent there for? A lot, most it being stuff that could be used for other, actually productive things completely unrelated to America’s bloated, corrupt prison system.
Maybe if we had cruel and unusual punishments I could see the “appeal” provided that publicly executing people actually acted as a deterrent instead of just entertainment. Even if that was the case though, at the end, he’d be dead in that case too anyway. He’s just dead a lot sooner this way, even if in a way that doesn’t rev up the apparent torture fetish you have that masquerades as “justice”.
Too bad. It’s better this way or, at least, as good as it’s going to get, which admittedly isn’t all that good–that’s life for you though.
Oh, he probably wasn’t diagnosed…because, as I said, America’s mental health care system is basically nonexistent nowadays for a number of reasons including but not limited to Reagan. On top of that, (racial) minority communities have a stigma against using mental health care even when they can get access to it and even when it’s actually good.
That said, if so many other people were noticing all the shit that was supposedly wrong with him, at the very least, it’s not like it came out of nowhere, which was my point. As much as I hate how the media portrays “loners”, this guy was apparently repeatedly acting on top of all his other issues, to point where I wouldn’t be surprised if some of his coworkers legitimately thought he had mental health issues (which he clearly did).
Too many people say “well, he always seemed…off” and yet there’s jack shit that they can do about it. I mean, I’m not necessarily a proponent of being able to forcible commit people given all the horrible things that mental institutions used to do to people, but at the very least, some type of check for current mental health should be required for guns if possible given it seems to happen after the fact if it happens at all. The problem is that our guns laws about legally purchasing guns are even more morbidly laughable than the dilapidated state of the American mental health care system. Sure, it wouldn’t have stopped him from getting a gun illegally, but instituting some changes along those lines would have at least been something, which is far more than what much of the stupid, lazy, corrupt asses in Congress want to do, which is just keep lining their own pockets.
I’m not asking for perfection. I’m just asking for an ounce of effort and lamenting that even that isn’t possible due to the devout followers of the same “god” who exacerbated the problem in the first place.
the thing is…nobody is mad bc he didnt get arrested and go to trial. Ppl are pissed bc instead of getting what he had coming to him, he was a coward and robbed the victims loved ones of that too. You might not be directly pulling the trigger yourself but I can tell you that it does not feel the same. Yea, hes dead but it really isnt the same…atleast not to me and most ppl who are mad that he took his own life.

Personally, I value criminals being stopped over being punished.
Sucks that he killed innocent people AND dodged the law (which can’t be undone of course), but at least he can’t endanger anyone else.

News like this just adds fuel to my utter disgust for this country. This is the land of gunslinging idiots in where no innocent person is safe and the worst part of it all is that it is racial favored. I really hope that a Hammurabi like figure will take charge of this country (the world in fact) in the near future because our justice systems needs to become stricter. Most people have no fear of going to jail anymore. Today people think they are bad asses for going to jail or just to fucked up in the head to even comprehend what is going on… so since there is no fear of breaking the law then it’s time to make justice painful.
If i was the president and the shooter was caught during my tenor, i would immediately sentence him to death. No trials, not lethal injections, not electric chairs, not a shot in the head… it has to be an execution in where he will scream sorry in pain. Execution like Scaphism would be a penalty i would choose on genocidal maniacs like this shooter; to the punk kid who shot a black church in SC; to the person who shot random people during the Dark Knight screening, etc etc. Yes i’m serious.
