Please don’t take this as me excusing his actions nor some backhanded knock at feminism, the text that follows is neither of those. But what does it say when a woman can psychologically harm a man in such a way that he does this? Similarly what is it about the state of mind of a man whose reality can be broken so asunder that he resorts to this type of thing? There seems to be some really crazy shit that happens at the neurological level which we aren’t really considering when it comes to relationships. This is in no way an effort to put blame on her. It is kind of the opposite because she may have been in a no way situation with this dude. So regardless of whichever which way she may have played it, just ending the relationship would’ve set him off. The inverse is also true. This dude may have been emotionally invested to some level where whatever went down was too much.
I kind of hope this prompts people to really look at their mental health. I know some will spin it as him being crazy, some will car her a bitch or that it was patriarchy or whatever bullshit they will. This is more telling of how strong those emotions in relationships can go and how bad the aftermath can be. Something about this story is just god damned scary. He just murdered her and an innocent dude on camera. That is a whole lot of fucking hate to have for one person.
