Alright guys this is it! Evo right around the corner, our last Tournament this Wednesday before the major show. I will be there in full effect, fully sober as I have a long day of driving the next day.

Also Jason Nelson and Josh P may need a PS3 to play on, Nelson’s not sure if the PS3 will fit on the plane.
Also Koogy can I still borrow that PS3 stick for my matches? Otherwise I really need to make some accommodations quick! And also does anyone have an extra copy of SSF4 for ps3 I could borrow for practice with Nelson and Josh P?

Yo Chris I am in Pool I for SSF4 and Pool E for HD Remix.
I don’t know about the theft rate for EVO but I will make sure to hold onto my stick at like all times for sure since I have heard about some incidents in the past about stick theft.
This Wednesday should be craaazy! Everyone will be making their final touches in their gameplay before EVO kicks off.
I have been practicing some SSF4 (Which I am quite rusty in) HD REMIX (Been playing this the most only to get fucked up by Ryu) and EVEN GUILTY GEAR BECAUSE I CAN YEAH!
I hope to win a few matches but the event will be great in itself!

listen up for those who are staying in our hotel rm. if you have a set up and you show up on Thursday, myself or lee wont be checked into rm until around 9-10pm (late flight). also no sf that night in the rm, my bracket is in the morning which starts at 9am so i would like to have enough time to get a full rest and eat in the morning , so i will have to be out and ready around 8am and would like to sleep by 11pm-12am so hopefully thats not asking alot. for this would be my first time I would actually be 100% for a tournament and of course having the best chance in the reno scene to do the best in evo.

"I know that a lot of us are like flat ass broke and NCR2 is just around the corner, so here is the thrifty plan.
1) Raid free breakfast. Stuff as many yogurts into your pants as humanly possible. Don't neglect the free orange juice... I'm thinking maybe we can fill a 5-gallon jug up or something when no one is looking.
2) FUCKING GAS! There are two methods to beat this beast. One, we take the direct approach and syphon some punk ass's car...like maybe all the kids who hog the Initial D machines there. Or I was thinking we could just take 1 car, then get like some water ski rope and tow me on a skateboard or something...
3) Entry fees. $25 for qualifiers, $10 for singles, $5 entry fee is an assload of money. I'm taking my skills on the green and putting them to the test by having money matches for mini-golf. Or I'll pay, but then come back, pretend to be ***** ********, and whine, 'Yo Tragic...NO PADS?!! WTF I AM THE BEST PLAYER IN AMERICA I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK!"
4) It is imperative that I win every tournament I enter in order to recoup expenses. This is where it gets dirty... I'm thinking I can call the guy I play against next and just be like, "yo what's up...", and then someone else can just pop up and fucking mace him. I'm gonna Kugler Punch the XX machine so that it's hella blurry and the other player starts going into seizures while he's playing. While I'm getting dust looped I'm not gonna bother teching, but instead I will yell directly into the other fool's ear, "EAT A DICK!"
5) Tokens? Fuck that shit. There's gonna be hella people, when the coin line gets all out of order just cut in front of people and take their token. Shit, take 3 or 4...wait, take every fucking token on the machine and just be like "TOKEN POLICE MOTHERFUCKERS! These tokens are illegally parked and must be collected as evidence." When someone tries to start shit, flash your badge, and then whack that fucker in the kidney with yo billyclub.

"I really have to think about going to evo. It costs me over a thousand dollars in expenses and money lost from time off work to attend Evo. This year I would definitly be more of a spectator since I don’t realistically expect to go that far and I’m honest with myself and my practice and dedication to the games which is almost nothing. I do not play or practice GGxx outside of tournies and casual play, I occassionally mess around with cvs2 in practice mode and I play lag fighter.
This is fine with me since being a top player is not a goal of mine, I like to compete but do not wish to invest hours upon hours of practice and travel to play the best to get better. It’s not like you can be a pro tennis player hitting balls by yourself all day and then expect to react to every opponents style, I think the same is true with fighting games. Although I really enjoy the experience with you guys I have been fortunate enough to go the last two years and I just have other goals in my life right now and could use that 1,100 bucks towards school or just to save. So I guess I just made up my mind and I will not be attending this year, sorry guys."

Wow I was really ignorant in those times! Saved all my money so I could get hooked on some really bad shit and have no fun at all. Well gottta be grateful for still being here and coming out of those times with a lot of help from Jesus Christ, friends and family and my new girlfriend and of course the hypeness of the koogy sessions being more of a rush than anything besides pulling 4 G’s into an ultra flashkick right into my first opponents face at this years evo (I hope so!).
If I had more time I would rehash posts from the past but just believe that long before I was backfisting sf4 screens at Atlantis koogy had the meanest mapa punch to ever grace a GGXX machines screen in the US!
