Guy is not about pokes or combos it seems to me, he is more of a set up type character like El Fuerte is, but has limited combo ability to go alongside with his set ups.
Guy is amazing, just wait till I can him against you.
U1 -Comes out a lot faster it seemed, and I was able to finally find that out , also it got better anti air priority that I didnt know.
U2 - I think its a lot better than I thought at first , it is good against characters who wanna keep you out since you can just empty jump into it. Also the abilty not to have a charge to make a major comeback is very very nice.
This is what im still trying to figure out with him as to which Ultra is more usefull .
I did 12 matches against random people in Ranked as a small test , 6 I used U1 and 6 U2 . When I used U1 I used it only once when I used U2 I used it 4 times and a lot of it came down to not having to charge.
They should of just fucking gave him a Ultra Anti Air Ass Slam :).
Right now im working on THawk . I liked him in HD and I like him again in this game.

Try Makoto out…she has good pressure game with decent pokes. I want to see a solid player with her since Im not going to be playing much as her probably. Im sticking with Deejay/Guile for the time being, and maybe a third character later on. Adon or Rose probably.

Been messing around with Adon… Will most likely stick with Sagat. New characters are fun though.
Maybe we can have the top 2 tourney placers as captains and then draft everyone else for a mega-huge-epic team battle.

I like characters that can rush down and zone. I’d like to try to get more technical with ibuki but I don’t really understand how to cancel her moves with super jump. Makoto I feel like has no options for fireballs, if I’m wrong please let me know.

This fanboy is sticking with Guy. I’ll just look forward to him getting buffed in a patch since everyone thinks he sucks. I’m enjoying his cr. lp - target combo xxx into whatever. It forces stands, and run canceling keeps the pressure on. If your ready for throws, it’s pretty good. And his corner game is awesome. Beatin the crap outta people online, anyway. But I’m sure you’ll all prove I’m a scrub when we play. Can’t make it this Wednesday, I’ll be out of town. Oh, and I’ve never built a whole stick from the ground up, case, cards, wiring, buttons etc. I usually have other people build me a crappy stick and then mod it into awesomeness.
Guy is fine. He’s just not going to be top-tier. Also I think a lot of people are kind of upset that you can’t go batshit crazy with him like in the Alpha games, excluding Alpha 2.
