Or just do what I’ll do and wait until the patch comes within a week or two and go back to the trusty TC2 >> U2. /lazy.
Just realized the only way to practice overhead combos on crouching Elena is to put Elena on record with down back. It seems like it’s +4 so target combo works for a nice 300 damage. Sorry if this is widely known already.

I see so foxtail hits differently on everyone. Is it safe to say you can hit a cr lp no matter what the character is? Seemed to be the only button I could hit on Abel consistently without CH turned on and only from max range
i dont know why i didn’t see this sooner but cl.MP, cr.MP, HP stinger works. From a counter hit, I always did cl.MP, cr.MP xx Daggers to confirm or some other kind of character specific link to stinger (eg cr.MP, cr.MK or cr.LP, cr.lk)
Good for damage. hands is still good for driving them into the corner or confirming into U1 or U2 with RFC
Cl.mp into cr.hp into hp sting should be your confirm off that normal
Depends on the character. If the character is vulnerable to cl.mp, cr.mp, cr.mk you can usually keep better momentum and maybe gain more meter with a combo to hands or slide.
It’s not a “you should always do X” with this character thing, it’s far more ambiguous.

I was messing around with mid combo meaties and found this on Honda.
Reason why I think it is quite strong is that you can confirm off crouch tech into it.
Also in the corner you can follow up with another MP Stinger or cl.MP if you don’t have/want to Ultra.
I posted it the first week. the other combo thread is way better because it doesn’t have 7 pages of crossup break into ultra.
You can convert like this on 5 characters so far, fuerte, honda, hugo, abel, and dudley

Counterhit cr.HP, cr.HP RFC cr.HP st. MP xx RES - 415 damage, 730 stun. Works on standing Blanka, and everyone else except Decapre, Elena, Poison, Akuma Dan, E Ryu, Gouken, Juri, Ken, Oni, Rose, Ryu and Sakura.
using ex daggers instead of res does more stun tho
crossup divekick after RES, go for a stun there

stun counting has to be on point before you try stunning with ex hands efficiently, if you manage to get a 2-3 hit confirm into ex hands and it stuns on last hit then that’s best possible scenerio, if it stuns in between you waste a bar and lose damage, and if there is no stun at all you’re left with very little oki options afterwards compared to what you get from res therefore risk losing that stun.

it does more stun regardless
