If anything it probably is install instructions, which you can find in the first page of the Arc Eye 3 thread. This thing is simple enough to install with the right connectors, and even if you don’t have them it’s a simple soldering job on the underside of the board.
Also there is the PDF on the first page of this thread.
Tbh it’s nice that he restocked but it came so late since the Kaimana is out and the Chameleon is going to be released soon. Well I guess if people want a plug and play solution with madcatz sticks then i can’t argue, this still is a nice RGB LED controller.
Ok, went through that and I’m still a bit unsure about it - am I supposed to be unplugging something and then plugging that into the remora? - I’m sure you noticed… I’m a rookie for mods lol.
I have the razer atrox, and I’m not sure what to do from here - if I need an additional cable or just need to rewire things?
I opened up the main board (not sure if that was necessary) - pictures below
The cables plugged in to the remora I believe is the harness (the instructions said there will be 1 harness with 4 wires, and that was the only set of cables that only had 4 wires - not sure if I was actually supposed to plug that in where I did though or if it should be in TE_CN1)
Sorry for being a noob but thank you for any help!
@PlasmaWaffle dude I hope I’m wrong, but I think this board was just for madcatz sticks (at least for plug & play). You may be able to use your Razor but man that may be a little much for a noob. Not trying to say anything bad, Hell Im a noob myself LOL. Good luck man.
All good, I saw a while ago (can’t remember where) that someone had used the Remora with the Atrox, but maybe it took some crazy modding skills… I’m not too sure. Hope I didn’t waste my cash lol
It’s as @wigsplitter said, it is only plug and play compatible with Madcatz sticks. If you plan to use other sticks you will need to either find or make your own ribbon cables or solder to the underside of the board as I had said in my previous post. Many modders you can find on this site can make it work for you.
I just ordered the Remora and 8 ArcEyes3s. Anyone know how long shipping normally take within the US?
And any word if this works with the Cerberus PCB? I really didn’t see anything directly but I know it works with other PCBs so I don’t know why it wouldn’t work. Just wondering if anyone has this hooked up to a Cerberus PCB and tested.
Any links on how to configure the Remora light settings? I’m super new to all of this but from what I’ve read in various threads it shouldn’t be hard to install. Just gonna need help to set it up after the install. Any links to configuration setup instructions would be soooo nice and helpful. I read somethings on here but it seems really confusing. I also looked for vids for instructions but came up empty handed. I wanna know everything that is possible with the Remora. I’m So excited!! Can’t wait to play some Simon on my Fightstight. lol
Thanks for any info.
[Got things going on the Atrox](Razer Arcade Stick + Remora! which is awesome, but unfortunately I managed to break one of the metal clips for the start button - I couldn’t find any contact info on GLC, does anyone know if I’m able to buy a replacement cable?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I was interested in adding 2 player Remora & ArcEye3 controls to my PC Mame cabinet. Can anyone give me insight on what parts i would need to order to accomplish this (buttons, boards etc.)
I’m having a bit of trouble with the installation. I have a PS3 TE Round 2 which I soldered a grounding wire to the PS3 for power. (just in case as the last time I tried without, nothing happened).
My issue is that the 6 buttons I have are all lighting red opposed to the blue, green, and red that they’re supposed to be.
Is there any solution for this? I know that is compatible with the PS3 fightstick, but I just need a bit of help ^^;
