Remember Fighter's History?

No point in buying the DVD? How about, supporting INH so that they can actually continue making DVD’s…?

INH is already working with a VERY small market, and when their shit gets bootlegged, that’s just hurting even more.

Uploading tournament footage, combo videos, etc (AKA stuff that’s free) is fine, but uploading a DVD that is still for sale by the producer? That’s not cool at all.

I didn’t upload it, take it up with the guys at combovideos. Plus i doubt anyone is gonna buy a dvd for a game they don’t know alot about or hardly or never played. Something like this is for hardcore fans only. Also i am not going to blindly support a company in the hope that they might make something i want. Sure i’ll buy stuff i want, like i bought myself a copy of the starting over dvd with yoga book, but i am not gonna buy everything they make to show them my support. Thats nuts!

I know you didn’t upload it, but you’re promoting it. (And actually I did take this issue up with the CV staff, but they didn’t agree with me.)

I’m not saying you should “blindly support” INH by buying everything they make. I’m saying that people shouldn’t bootleg low-budget DVDs that are still for sale by the producer.

i’m not really, i am just sorta warning people. Most people here arent huge fans of FHD, most probably don’t even know what it is, or ever played it. No point dishing out all that cash just to check something out, you might not like. Its probably only gonna be something people watch once anyway for most. And those who really like it will probably buy it anyway, regardless if they can download it for free or not.

I would certainly call that promoting CV’s bootleg.

And that’s why I prefaced my post with, “If you’re serious about FHD”…

Well your entitled to your opinion and i’ll leave it at that, cause everytime i try to argue a point here on SRK, i get bum rushed by 100 premium members.

My local arcade actually has this game so I’ve been playing it a lot recently.

ha ha sick anyone playing you?

Yeah PAGG is the shit, played it for a bit with Whodat on Friday…man fuck Marstorius!

Lol I find it funny that random premium users always neg rep if you talk about a game that they don’t understand. Lol

Anyway only a few people play with me in the arcade. I doubt there will be more than that at any given time.

This isn’t surprising. For example you get neg repped if you don’t like MvC2, like giving a list of obvious flaws in the game might have someone -reg you. This board is hilarious if you so much as disagree with anyone here that person will just neg rep you.

Too late, someone has already done it…

Some japanese 2v2 FHD KR vids. Enjoy.

The Ray player died so quickly. :\

Nice find, keep em coming!

Here are my tiers based on years of painstaking research (lol), game observation, Japan competition and new findings…

TOP TIER

Karnov
Zazie
Lee
Marstorius

UPPER TIER

Ray
Matlock

WHY TOP TIER?

Karnov - superb anti air, infinite combo, best pressure game (along with Zazie), crazy options, cancellable sweep, balloon (best special in the game), great cross up (can fake his cross up too), 4 hit JUMPING IN, teleport bug

Zazie - superb anti air, best normals in the game, 100 hand punch is joint best special with insane priority, dodge dash move that repeat cancels into another one (!!), dash into fire uppercut ‘bug’ (gives him a no recovery travelling anti air), great sweep, great cross up that doesnt look like one, can do M. Bison boxer mindgames (dash>dash, dash > uppercut or dash > throw), easily ‘comboable’ super move, great combos using multiple specials. Was my previous No1 character until i saw Karnov properly…

Lee - Rock solid anti air, best B & B combo in the game, ridiculous high priority down Hard Punch combos starter, great cross up, superb pressure game, super connects twice in corner and leave enough hitstun to still combo after (!!), super eradicates projectiles, VERY high damage character

Marstorius - I know, your probably saying WTF!!! But heres why - High damage, good rushdown after knockdown, rising knee anti air deceptive good, superb crossup (light kick), rising knee evades fireballs, good anti air (wheel kick), amazing sweep, double german grab range (!!). BUT REALLY WHAT MAKES HIM SO HIGH?? HE CAN CANCEL RECOVERY ON ALL HIS STRONG NORMALS AND GO BACK INTO LIGHT MOVES! For instance he can do sweep>light punch>light kick >light kick>sweep as a blocked combo, and at any point you can throw in double german and theres nothing you can do about it because your in semi block stun. The Light punch and light kicks can be crouching or standing too. If he gets in on you and your not Zazie, Karnov, Ray or Lee you’re in trouble…

The proof for all of the above should be in any recent tournament footage you’ll come across, esp. any from the Mikado arcade, these 4 are always in finals. I personally rate Ray and Matlock too, esp Matlock when he gets you in the corner…

EDIT

Ray is superb and at first was easily the best in the game but i’m afraid now it appears he isnt. He cant beat Karnov (balloon, headbut uppercut and the teleport owns all his strategies), or Zazie (cant throw fireballs because of the dodge dash, cant jump case of the fire uppercut, travelling uppercut bug, or down HP and much better normals). In fact both characters have better normals.

His match up with Lee is closer because he can zone him with fireball / wheel kick nonsense but once Lee breaks the pattern by either, jumping, getting a knockdown or using his hidden ‘super’ move to eradicate the fireball trap, Ray’s in BIG TROUBLE because one hit by Lee jumping in or on the ground usually means the round is virtually over via damage or dizzying…

Ray vs Marstorius is a fascinating matchup and is actual quite more even than you think amazingly. You could give it to Ray (logic suggests so) but i see Rays getting battered by a cancelling Marstorious quite often, once he gets in its all over, if he doesnt then Ray can beat him. At high levels i’d say its 6 - 4 in Marstorious’s favour believe it or not

TOURNAMENT FOOTAGE COMING…

Marsotorius counters Lee without a doubt also… Do two rekkas with Lee and its free Double German for Mars…

But did you know that Lee has a special cancelling rekka then end extra quickly? I forgot the precise motion but doing that one (if your hand skills are fast enough) throws Marstorious’s timing off.

Of course, a clever Marstorius could do repeat inputs for the grab during block stun to be even more annoying…heheh

Yeah you are right I forgot about that with Lee… that is a nice way to counter that with Mars though…I think that matchup is almost even… ALMOST…

Who would you say gets the advantage?

Alright I need pressure strings combos and overall pokes and when to use specials (Karnov).

Lets get some STRATS in this thread instead of tier talk.
