I always tended to think Lee was the best character in the game. But yeah that game is pretty funny, despite being fairly unbalanced.
ps: I just love the Mizoguchi dying sream, hahahah! seems like some’s ripping out his intestins, lol

Btw, if some of you have never played it : try Karnov 3 on Super Famicom. It’s called Muzoguchi Kiki Ippatsu (or something close to that) it’s pretty impressive all in all and it’s some Karnov with Chelnov (from the Chelnov game) as final boss ^^

For whatever reason I actually kinda liked this game. As much as people say it’s a rip off of SF2 it really doesn’t play anything like it. It would have actually been nice to see this series take off.
Karnov and Ray are broken to pieces, but the rest of the cast actually does have a little something to get them by for the most part. I mean some people do have glaring weaknesses like Marstorious not being able to jump fireballs
I would add Lee to the brokeness aswell. His BnB combo does so much damage, and he dizzies opponents way to easily, sometimes, off just one rush punch.
That’s only if their weak spot is in their head or chest.

Did you already run a tourney for this? I think infinites shouldn’t be banned on these tournies, it helps balance those characters against the top people right?
Ryoko from FHD and WH are “the same and different” at the same time: Their are 2 different characters, but based on a real Japanese Judo trainer called Ryoko Tani.
well, I’ll have to ask some friends the details because I never played Jean myself but point is : not only Jean can lock you down pretty well, he can kill you with 100% certainty when you’re dizzy, whatever life you have. And I don’t mean no big-ass heavy blow, just a pure bug.
Btw, I recommend the Karnov DVD, it’s full of insanity (well, good thing is most infinites and other stupid setups require sota execution)

This game was fun, but many of the death screams were laughably bad. I liked Mizoguchi’s because it was so melodramatic.
No point buying the DVD unless your a serious collector, as 95% of the tournament is up on combovideos.com ready to download (missing the combo video aswell as afew matches i think???)
