Hey, just wondering if its fine to register 2 people from the same email/paypal. A friend payed for me just wanted to confirm if i’m on the registered list, as he had a few small complications with Paypal.

It says on the website a 50 dollar attendance fee is needed… isn’t playin in the byoc attending?
Mr.Wiz already said that he welcomes all people to join in on the BYOC free of charge. That would include the console BYOC games and all of the arcade loketest games. You are only considered “attending the event” if you sign up for a tournament game. Which is what Evo is at heart any ways.

We actually havent decided if you will be allowed to play the loke test games if you arent in the tournament. BYOC is free and will remain free.

Oh aight…I just figured loke test games were simply part of the BYOC. Makes sense. Either way…BYOC itself is still free. Whether you paid for Evo or not…the jist is everyone will get a chance to play games so definitely come out and make it big.
Making people register to play loke test games would make sense business wise I think. Plus the lines to play wouldn’t be quite as long without the extra spectators wanting to get in. I’m sure the lines to play will already be crowded enough. Tourney players won’t have much time to play during tourneys though so I guess that could give some off time for spectators to play. I do think it would be great to give everyone a chance to play though. Depends on how generous you are.
Oh and again…according to registration rules you’re not supposed to get money back. I would kiss up real good to have any chance. If you’re gonna pay…pay to come down. Make sure NOTHING else is on your schedule and if you have bad luck you probably shouldn’t register. No cars breaking down, no real life getting in the way…just games. :lol:

What’s free
Walking around the Evo floor. Basically simply being present at Evo is free. George Bush gets in for free. If you want to bring your mom and you know she’s not confident enough to play any tourney games…she has to pay nothing to be at Evo.
Playing any BYOC game at Evo. Basically just about any game that is played on a console specifically for casuals. PS2, PS3, 360 whatever. If you wanna play 3rd Strike casuals with me…that’s free.

Playing in Evo tournaments. (Must pay registration fee and 10 dollars for each tourney game)
Playing SFIV, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, HD Remix or any currently unavailable loketest game. (Must at least pay registration fee/have an Evo badge).

The hidden bullshit is that no matter how much money someone asks for in a money match…if you can find Mr.Wiz a McRib he’ll back your money match. Meaning your money match is covered. Technically your money match will cost you 3-4 bucks depending on the current price of a McRib. Price subject to change if Mr.Wiz would want a full value meal, wants 2 McRibs etc…
BTW anyone can buy me a McRib just cuz I haven’t had one in years.
Oh and I’ll look for you and your mom at Evo.
