Rage quits are rare because I only do player matches but not unheard of, pretty pathetic to rage quit out of a player match 
I did sweep a guy to death once. Even though he should have just learned to block low, I still felt bad afterward. 
This. I’ve moved forward and ate so many headbutts because of this I wanted to ragequit.

Honda is about the only matchup where it actually seems like a good idea to spam hadouken.
Today I learned how unsafe it was to do a c.HP and not follow it up with anything. Sagat/Ken/Ryu all get a free DP.
That’s true of anyone, it’s -5 on hit if you don’t cancel it.
People will style on you if you don’t cancel c.HP into a special.

On block it’s -10, but most characters c.FP have these properties where they are extremely negative on both block and hit.
The idea is that you want to cancel these moves into a special to make them safe/do a combo. Sakura is no exception.

Anways, hello. I’m a recently converted whatever player and I decided to pick up school girl. I’ve learned some basic combos and strats for her, now I just need to take my game to the next level and show the true power of Sakura.

I’m just watching it now and the Sakura player, DONTCALLMEBOBBY keeps mashing random buttons and directions…and has almost 60kGP D:

I see you play Sakura and Chun… Seems like many Chun’s play Sak these days. I know I do.
I actually played Chun before Sakura. I use her every now and again, but for right now it’s panty time.
So, I have a question for you guys. What do you feel is the most important thing for a Sakura player to learn when they are just starting? For me, it’s Pokes. That’s the foundation of your game and being able to play footsies can go leagues beyond doing Sakura’s nifty combos. As an example, the first thing I wanted to do consistently with Sakura was hit her low forward> HP Sho-oh-Ken. I would practice buffering the motion and then whenver I’d see the low forward connect, I’d hit the fierce button. From then, I built upon that (using EX meter to FADC into the harder combos) and then began to do her link combos.
Now all of this is excluding the resets and other things off of a landed EX Shippu Kyaku. Those are important, but I feel that learning Sakura’s footsie game is the first step to becoming a better Sak player.

I just bought the Sakura Ganbaru manga lol, saw them lying around when I was killing some time before I went to the barber. I’m not even that much of a Sakura fan, but it’s great stuff. Buy it!

Also got the SFIII: RYU manga while I was at it, maybe I’ll finally start loving the 3s chars, already saw Dudley while skimming. I just love Udon.
I loved Sakura Ganbaru. Great series, some of the cameos were priceless.
