Yeah gotta remember not to throw Hadoukens against Abel and Chunners when they have Ultra, Abel in particular as he doesn’t need charge, actually same goes for Seth but his Ultra does shitty damage 
If you just need to touch Chun for the win or want to make her waste her ultra, a slightly charged sakura fireball will not allow Chun to pass through. I use this alot when I know a Chun is just waiting for me to fireball.
So that’d be the 1st charge state Hadouken then? What kind of range you doing this from? Practically full screen?

I hate the input shortcuts. They don’t make any damn sense and moves overlap so that I can input the same retarded stick waggle and get two separate moves to come out…

and whats worse is both “feel” the same as far as my left hand is concerned… it’s just a crap shoot as far as which one will come out at any given time :sad:

Hey all, I’m a Cammy player who’s just started messing with Sak two or three days ago. FreestyleDesu is gonna laugh at me for this one…
I’m falling in love with the hp -> lk shuunpu-> lk -> hk shuunpu. A lot of my friends tried to dp after the hk tatsu… and then I get to do the whole combo again 
I did this to a Sagat player and he did tiger uppercut 3 times in a row in a player match. The guy said to me afterwards, “wow dude get out of here, your not even fun to play with”
She’s a lot of fun to play as, but not very rewarding; considering the damage scaling…
you’re doing the wrong combos then
That’s the only combo I’ve tried really… Sometimes I’ll do the ex tatsu -> ultra instead of the hk tatsu…
I’ll read the combo guide on srk one of these days…
If you want rewarding then you should look into her EX tatsu reset shenanigans. :tup:

I want you to do me a favor and go into training mode and actually look at her damage options from nailing one friggin’ c.Fierce. At least 300 damage, almost 500 against certain characters =) I’d say it’s pretty rewarding~
Average damage I get on punish is around 300-400 :lovin:
There are different types of characters in this game. Ones that rely on Ultras for their damage (i.e. Blanka); ones that rely on pokes (i.e. Chun); ones that have both (i.e. Ryu); but Sakura is one of the few who rely on actual elongated combos (the other coming to mind being Gen).
I rarely use Sakura’s Ultra unless the bar is full/near full and it’s after a c.Hp -> ex.Tatsu because using it any other situation is just plain useless (unless it’ll kill).
Cammy was fun until people learned about down+back =\ Sakura does not have that problem =P Play her a bit more and maybe you’ll see what I’m seeing now =)
The first one should be a Shououken if you do it right, I used to do that for the trials before I realised the much simpler DF D DF and 9/10 times I’d get Shououken. ^^;;
I don’t have a problem with the shortcuts, it’s the bloody negative edge that always fucks everything up >.< Wish we could just turn it off, I never use it intentionally…
I haven’t seen how Sakura beats the down + back people. She has an overhead, but I haven’t seen it being better than tick throws, the startup time and damage doesn’t have me going crazy over it.
Then again, tick throws can always be teched…

I’m going to be messing around with all the new characters, just to see whats up. I already have two mains from this game, might pick up two more… I’m thinking Dee Jay and Juri.
DeeJay looks like he has some wicked sick combos, it’d be tempting if he wasn’t a charge character
