They say that the Juri chick is supposed to be Hinata/Shiki mixed. Dunno how that will turn.
I’d kill for Karin, she’s the only character not in SF4 that I want but Ibuki and Makoto would be cool additions.
Gouken stole Karin’s counters and her “optional Rekka system” must have been the inspiration behind Abel’s Change of Direction and Rufus’s Jesus Kick only Karin’s had way more options including the ability to tag a counter at the end.
Speaking of Gouken’s daughter, isn’t she in Alpha Generations? The girl that takes a bath with Sakura?

I’m thinking of the Shinku Hadoken now and how it’ll fit if they do go through with this. Would it be useful? Or just as useful as the Haru Ranman.
The thing I don’t get is why Sak’s the only one with two Supers…or are they replacing Haru Ichiban with the Shinku Hadoken? I’d much prefer the Shinku as her other Ultra since EX bars are vital to her mixup games…and that I can imitate Ryu’s SRK > Ultra combo, which fits well with Sak anyway since she’s supposed to mimic Ryu’s fighting style. =)
Then again these are only rumors and since they haven’t announced anything yet at TGS, so I’m probably counting my chickens too early. =P
Shinkuu Hadouken wouldn’t add much of anything to Sakura’s arsenal, besides throwing it in a fireball match to try and catch someone off guard (which you probably wouldn’t be doing with her fireball anyways) it’d be used in all the same ways as Haru Ichiban would, just means you could Hadouken xx Super a lot easier

Yeah, I agree. If they do this, the Shinku Hadoken should be an Ultra. I don’t see what makes her so different to have two Supers and two Ultras. Now Gen I can see, he has two stances. But not Sak. Other than the Shinku Hadoken I can think of the Midare Zakura, which is really the EX Shouoken kinda.

Shinkuu Hadouken’s not all that impressive Metsu Hadouken is technically more powerful and does poor damage, imagine how crap Shinkuu Hadouken’s damage would be
Lv1 Midare Zakura = EX Shououken 
Think Lv2&3 both did 3 Shououkens.
What makes her so different? She’s Sakura! She’s awesome so she gets an extra one
if this super street fighter 4 game comes out… im sticking with sakura… im a stubborn drunk asshole.
I definitely will stick with Sakura, but might pick up a new main (Chun Li is my current).
I play Sakura for fun and my main for wins(Even though Chun is kinda fun, but SF4 is boring overall, Sak is my outlet)… maybe I can combine the two… I’m trying! :pleased:
Sakura’s my favourite Street Fighter character of all time, there’s no way I’d give her up
If the list of new characters is true I’d like to give Makoto, Ibuki and Dudley (just because he’s British :P) a go. I never got the hang of SF3, was too technical for me, but those two ladies intrigued me quite a bit, was just a shame I couldn’t do much of anything

Yeah I hope SF4 doesn’t end up going the same way as SF3 - way too complex for dopes like me who have enough trouble blocking yet alone tapping forward at just the right time. That and I really hated some of the character designs (Oro, Necro, Urien…) - even though I loved others like Makoto and Ibuki :lovin:.
I really love the focus attack mechanic though so I hope they don’t get too fancy and end up screwing it up.
In other news I was playing a friend of mine yesterday who has a nice strong Abel - I played like a ninja and got him down to about 10% life while I was sitting pretty at about 70%, then I threw a stupid fireball and he pulled out his fully charged ultra and killed me with one move. :shake:

I still can’t believe I forgot to reserve a post or two in my matchup thread. I asked GGawran for some help. I’m pretty sure he’ll add on as well, just copy and paste. Needless to say, next time, I won’t forget
