hehe don’t say that man I ain’t that good.I loved her I really did but I want to step up my game and start going to major tournaments and sakura can’t provide the tools I need.
Thats the thing, the tournament will be like sudden death tournament type one match you lose you are gone. It will be like a new tournament every month and the first 3 will win X points we are going to do some type of league all year and yes character lock. They will only record semi till finals.
Starting today I will play like 3-4hours a day training for the tournament If I can’t find people to play I will be on the chat room ;D

So I’m about to get a stick next weekend. I’m lookng at the HRAP EX-SE.
I have very little experience on a stick, but I’m about to take my training regiments to a new level. I will be training relentlessly on SFA3 and SF3S on MAME for at least a few hours a day. I need to take some time to get my execution right. I feel like that is what is holding me back from being a better Sakura player.
Any stick players have any general advice?

Nice choice of going with a HRAP3. They are nice.
I would first suggest for you to get comfortable with the stick first. See what grip you hold the joystick is more comfortable for you. Do you hold it with the whole palm American-Style? Or do you prefer to hold it in-between your ring and middle finger wine-grip Japanese-Style? It’s all preference how you want to hold your stick.
After you get comfortable holding your joystick, just practice basic execution first either in training or some endless matches online. In training mode, work on your strongest player side. For me, my execution with Sakura is so much better on the 2nd player side than the first player side. Just work with your strongest side, and then work you execution up to your weaker side. I’m still pretty weak doing QCF ultras/supers on the first player side.
Progress more from execution of moves to combos, starting from basic ones like j.HK>c.HP xx EX Tatsu, to medium ones like c.LK>c.LP>c.MK xx HP Shou and then her hard one-framers like LK Tatsu>s.LK xx EX Tatsu > U1
Look for me when you want it modded.
