Hey, thanks to shytoo for coming out all the way from the Bay Area, and coming to a small, Sacramento tournament. The mirror matches were fun, wish I could do it more with the Sakura’s here in general.
Shytoo still beat me in terms of the brackets though. 9th place, very nice. That’s still better than my 13th place.
Well, I had two goals going to CEOxStorm: don’t go 2 and out, and don’t get embarassed on the stream. I only managed one of those. Putting up a near even match with Flash and Chris Jason (he took 4th) in casuals before the tourney started, and had it not been for a critical error on my part, I would’ve taken a round off Flash in front of the whole internet. Played Jason further and I feel if I ever got matched up with him, I could take him. Still went 0-2 though.
However I played an excellent Boxer, Gief and Jason’s Fei in casuals and got a shit-ton of help with those matchups. They really helped me hammer out some stuff so the next time I see any of those characters, I’ll be a little more prepared.
Got another event in two weeks, so we’ll get to put all that to the test.
I had a ton of fun, but driving 100 miles to go 0-2 kind of sucked.

Glad it went well Sakabato, would have liked to go, but I had projects to do all weekend. Hopefully there are more to come :3
Hey guys today was a funny day, I never ever ever played in ranking, always play with friends and people form the forums, however I was in training mode and I thought Ok so no one is online so I am going to give ranking mode a try.
Got my ass raped with ibuki and I was like damn I really suck shit. Going to pick sakura for fun, and guess what 13 win streak LOL and I am still with the streak 
Anyway this Saturday I am going to a tournament and I’m not completely convinced that I should play Ibuki, so I MIGHT play sakura I don’t know.

In my opinion, T.Hawk vs. Sakura, it should be at least 5-5, or 4.5-5.5 in Sakura’s favor, but then again, all the T.Hawks I have played, I have beaten because of them flow-charting. I would re-consider my words if I play a good Hawk player that doesn’t Dive>SPD or Reversal SPD all the time.
