I asked Per/The Real NeoGeo in the Akihabara Thread about possibly “suggestively bugging” Seimitsu about putting the Pearl buttons into at least a new limited production. I don’t know how the Japanese do these things and I’m not going to presume to e-mail Seimitsu if I even had contact information. I don’t know Kanji or Japanese protocol. Figured it was better to ask a vendor to pass on word.
AND my suggestion of the week – DON’T BUY Rustoleum spraypaint for vinyl and fabric to color your joystick cases!
I had a mini-disaster with it. I can salvage the case and it’ll be fine but I learned an important lesson about an inferior product.
If you have to spraypaint for vinyl and fabric, go with Duplicolor.

Those older pre-Agetec joysticks… you guys can have 'em. They really stressed my hand and fingers quite a bit. The sticks that exist now are much more comfortable. You couldn’t convince me to go back to SNES pads let alone Atari 2600 joysticks. Those early joysticks really defined discomfort!
I never felt comfortable with American parts or the Hori Fighting Stick SS/PS lines.

It’s not the fan edition which sold out about a month ago, but the next best thing. And you can’t really argue about the price considering how much the same place is selling the standard edition for.

Hard enough to buy the V-O twin sticks now – and frankly they’re of no use beyond playing the game on any system it was released on (XBox360 Live, Sega Saturn Sega Dreamcast) — but this is WAY better than the controller.
$300 for a sit-down arcade game IS a steal.

It’s probably next-to-impossible to get rid of that game because of its size.
I also doubt it’s in huge demand. The V-O fanatic crowd isn’t that big. SEGA Fandom is also not what it used to be. The V-O game itself is also well over 10 years old now…
