That posting gave me deja vu. The one that I got (the bent one) also came from canada. If you read the listing its says selling as is for used parts or something like that. Good luck and report back with its condition.
Thats the same seller.
The auction says new never used, and the ipctures show no damage. I sent him like 6 emails telling him to insure it with a trackign number.
ahhh fuck, at least I didnāt send it as a gift. and used ebay to messege him. So I can always chargeback if things dont come how It is described. I paid 120 with shipping.

How easy is it to mod the KoF stick?Thatās not a bad price, and I can deal with the start select being close to buttons.
Damn good deal!
Thatās actually what I paid for my first T5 set about 3-4 years ago.
Very, very hard now to find a good deal on a sealed T5 set. Theyāre running for well over $100 now brand, sealed.
Tekken 5 ā the disc itself ā is running pretty good money now on many places used. The gameās long out-of-print and you canāt even find new copies of the Greatest Hits edition anymore!
Thatās a very good find you managed there, and itās a great HRAP-lite stick to do some serious modding on as myself and many other people have found.
Itās probably the best mass-production stick to develop and practice modding skills on. The case alone makes it worth bringing up to HRAP-level. Worst aspect of the stick is definitely the joystick mount on the faceplate. JLF-friendly, but not good for anything else. Either find a good metal shop to mod it for you, or get a replacement faceplate. Unfortunately, at this point in time youāre on your own if you want to put anything but a JLF in that stick base.
Marvel Superheroes VS Street Fighter Stand-up Aracade
ffs I gotta save money >:(
Iām banning myself from ebay craigslist. And this thread.
I donāt know about the PS2 version, but the original Neo Geo stick could be modded with 24mm Seimitsu or Sanwa buttons very easily, but it was difficult (but not impossible) to put a Sanwa stick in the case since it was pretty small.
Bought an xbox TE for 30 bucks off some guy at a tournament. only needs the start button fixed/replaced. and a front screw replaced.
Best Buy is liquidating stock of Mad Catz Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Wii Fight Sticks.
Sale price is 50% off ā $29.99!
Check at local stores to see if they sticks in stock or if you have to do web orders.
I picked up a Tatsunoko stick for myself today. With my Best Buy Rewards Zone coupon, it was another $10 off!
$21.34 total with tax. Cheapest, new-condition stick Iāve ever bought. Well worth it after the upgrade with leftover Sanwa parts (OBSF-30 + JLF removed from an HRAP 2 SA).
The Mad Catz pushbuttons are more tactile than Hori stock but Iāve heard too many horror stories about what happens with those after a short while.
On the other hand, I thought the directional/arrow dust covers were neat and kept for those for the JLF!
Thanks for the tip JDM, I may have to pick one up.
GeorgeC?
Laugh.
Unneeded Quote just to be cool.
Errrā¦damnā¦
Thanks for the tip GeorgeC.
Thanks for the correction jdm.
Just bought a 360 SE off eBay for $38 shipped. Considering itās usually priced at 45-50, thatās a pretty decent deal.
Now, the question is how do I tell if itās an early one that will have problems with the metal washer on the stick (we know the defect; itāll eat up the stickās PCB), or is removing it just The First Thing To Do Regardless??
Picking up a Sega HSS-0156 for the meager sum of $18.
well, this is pending a refund withing ā3-5 business daysā (the only drawback when buying with credit)
but i ordered a ps3 round 2 te for $50, and received a ps3 se fightstick. had a feeling this would happen due to the prince, but when i called, i was told, that they will refund my money AND let me keep the incorrect item! nowā¦ now do i really need a te?
If I were you Iād just take the $50 and buy Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons and youāll have a stick every bit as good as a TE. I like the size of the SE better myself.

Itās okayā¦ Iām not blitzkrieging the countryā¦ YET!
But seriously, first thing out of the box, I was impressed by the stickās base. (May have to revise my opinion of Mad Catzās non-TE first gen sticksā¦)
Loads better button-wise after a quick transplant surgery with buttons that I cherry-picked from my āunused pileā for the Tats vs Cap Wii Fight Stick. I modded the stick with violet OBSFās instead of light blue in addition to white OBSF. Iāve got several sticks already that HAVE light blue buttons!
The $10 I already had in Rewards Points was burning to be used on something that was already discountedā¦
ā¦ Iām cheap that way, sometimes!
Still says 60 online??!!?!?!?
Go to your local Best Buy and askā¦
Sometimes the prices online and on-site donāt agree.
If you see a discrepancy, always ask an associate and/or go to customer service.
You save yourself a nice a wad of cash if you ask questions and act like you know what youāre talking about!
I had read somewhere else ā maybe here or in another forum ā about the price reductions and I had noticed even before that the sticks had been marked down to $59.99 and were going down to at least $39.99 ā¦
This is inventory clearance so once Best Buy gets rid of these sticks theyāll never stock them again!
Keep the SE and upgrade it, or resell it to another SRK member.
In spite of the problems with the PCBās on those sticks and other issues, itās a nice stick base.
I just got the Wii version of it the other day and have to admit I was impressed by it.
I donāt like the fact that I have to open it from the bottom to swap out parts, but itās nowhere near as bad to mod as an unmodded HRAP license stick.
At least you donāt have to glue or cut things in the SE case to make it a competition worthy stick!
It all boils down to the amount of work you want to put into modding a stickā¦
