Mine is only Size 9.

Ah cool. At the beginning of the month it was impossible to find these in my size for less than 150. Looks like they have come down to decent prices.

I wear the same size as MarkManā€¦could stick obsession be directly correlated with shoe sizeā€¦? No, surely notā€¦

would you consider this a good deal, taking into consideration that i can just about wire a plug.

I was blown away by how many shoe websites there are when I went looking for more info.

Here is a VF4 machine not in pristine condition:

virtua fighter 4 arcade - Oshawa / Durham Region Video Games for Sale - Kijiji Oshawa / Durham Region Canada.

What is it about Canada and all these great arcade game deals?

Fireside sale going on for games? Some of the cabinets arenā€™t in half-bad condition, either!

Oh, before I forget ā€” All hail Hypnotoad! Hypnotoad is the winner of this yearā€™s best pet in show!

There is also a coin-op place in Toronto which does monthly auctions:
www.cgcc.ca :: View topic - STARBURST Auction Guide - Next Auction : Nov 6

Gonna check the November auction, see if I can get a board for cheap.

EDIT: Thereā€™s also this raggedy pool hall 10 minutes away from me with a couple of games (3S ver.A, XvSF, Fatal Fury 2) and another pool hall about three blocks away with SF3NG. Iā€™ll be asking if theyā€™re interested to sell the boards alone.

EDIT2: I found an MvC1 B board:

Worth it?

Checked the thing, seems to be in good condition despite not having a box. ASCII stick (double boo) which seems to have mushy switches. Will probably replace it with an LS-53 once I decide to mod this.

Iā€™m probably the first guy ever to open this.

Still have yet to test this since, oh hey, I donā€™t have a Saturn.

yeah i had to mod mine, some of the worst buttons of any stick iā€™ve used.

@ Dev - Nice man. That button layout has always intrigued meā€¦

That Saturn stick is basically the prototype for the Hori HRAP series.

I remember when it was listed brand-new on NCSā€™s webstore along with the twin version.

I was tempted at one time to buy it but never got around to it. Never did care for the layout of the L and R buttons to be honestā€¦

I just donā€™t think anyone made a joystick around that time that I particularly cared for. At least of some of the cabs and PCBā€™s are worth scavenging and saving if you want to bring them up. Heck, with the MC Cthulu now supporting Saturn natively you can still use it with the Saturn and most of your other systems, too!

A bit off topic, I didnā€™t realize how freakinā€™ bright that light was. It looks almost like itā€™s daytime (itā€™s actually night at this part of the world).

You donā€™t remember Lizanias opening?

If you do end up taking it apart and modding it, a good scan of the pcb would be a nice addition to the daughterboard archive.
