Realistic changes that can save SFxT?

Says the person complaining about a person complaining about a video game… Indeed. Thank you for your critique, I apologize that my vocabulary is not as eloquent as your own and that it offended your fine taste. Perhaps next time I should just swear and type in all caps, would that please m’lord?

all i really want is for time to either be slower or add more time to the clock, as well as time pausing during super/throw. this game needs faster walk speeds for certain characters too. and hard knocks that aren’t from chains ( example: throw or stand alone sweep ) should be non-rollable. and AA’s for tekken cast should be stronger.

Time changes could be legitimate fixes for high level play. I also expect some hard knockdown adjustments as time goes on.

But when it comes to walk speeds/AA’s, I think that would imbalance the game. If Tekken chars has stronger AA’s they would be overall better than SF chars, considering on average Tekken chars do approximately +30% damage that the SF chars can do in combos (and easier to perform as well). When it comes to the walk speed thing, that would allow Tekken chars to get around the projectiles/etc which are SF’s other strengths. SF chars have mobility/projectiles/crossups as their strengths. As it is, if a Tekken char plays smart and gets past the SF chars utility/crossups they can put a whooping on them.

I agree with your assessment and that is part of my fear. Aside from character/side favoritism, people just picking up all the tekken cast due to the combo ease and power and it becoming the jab happy festival 2012 Into damage if your liking. Like a few have said, why should you play the hard route when you can play easy and win just as much if not more

I’d rather have 100 good players than 10000 scrubs playing. New players who’ve come to learn are fine, new players who’ve come to complain aren’t.

Meh, variety is the spice of life. Can we settle at 5,000 good and 5,000 scrubs?

As long as the scrubs don’t spend their time whinging rather than learning, that’d be great.

OP how about you do something about it if you know they going to do the same thing over and over again?

…the only way to save this game is to…buff Rufus.

wat?

What if they just like

Dropped this game completely and made Darkstalkers 4

That would be pretty cool

This would actually make me a bit happier. I’m in full blown devil reverse by the time it goes usually.

They will drop it like a bad habit.

In 7 months.

Until then, people need to stay free to “the pros”.

And by this I mean being gullible as all fuck.

I heard J.Wong said if you buy all of the DLC characters and Gems, all of the game’s problems magically go away.

Oh, and the costumes - don’t forget the costumes… they fix the priority of AAs.

You know what else fixes the priority of AA’s? (aside from EX moves)

Quicker reflexes =)

you guys should check the frame advantage on most of the characters jabs. lots of characters getting +8/+4

not saying there arent ways around it. but its still stupid for 20+ characters to have the same frame trap into magic series

That’s not too bad in this game considering all you need is meter to get out (and meter gain is so fast, rarely out of meter) not to mention it’s mostly SF chars that have that, so it evens out with the crazy tekken mixups

^^^^^
Ya see, this is a huge part of the problem, right here.

People who don’t understand the concepts being discussed, offering insights from the depths of their own asses.

Not really… part of the problem is people haven’t adjusted to the new system and want it to turn back in to “what they are already comfortable with”.

Nah.

Not the case at all.

People want fundamental aspects of the genre to be present in a game when its creators presume to call it a fighting game.

The fundamental aspects are there, just because it’s a different priority than the game u played most before that doesnt mean they are non-existent.

All games have different priority for AA’s. But I guess it’s easier to complain than learn a new game.
