Whichever one you feel like using. Itās easier to just do a regular HK Tackle instead of dash-back though, just saying.
ah ok sound.
Iāve got a question involving the mid screen unblockable. Does anyone have any tips they can give on how to dash headbutt more consistently? Iām inputting down back, forward, forward, down back, up. Is this the right motion? After you dash do you have to input the headbutt quickly or delay it for more charge time? Also, does it have to be down back, dash, down back, headbutt or can it be done like down back, dash, down forward, headbutt? My main issue is figuring out the timing. If anybody has tips for dash tackle as well thatād be helpful.
emphys opening post in this thread explains everything about as clear as possible.
practice makes perfect.
exactly.
I remember long ago when it seemed impossible for me to do, even reading all the info I could. After tons of practice now it feels natural and easy for me. So Shadow donāt worry, keep practicing and youāll figure it out. Take your time and youāll get it down eventually.
Editing the old post with this new question.
What are my best options against someone that knows how to parry/throw out of midscreen unblockables? Ping pong mixups? What are the ones I should know?

If they always just parry, canāt you just dash them into it.
Anybody familiar with the unblockable on dudley that has a headbutt after the tackle aegis midscreen? I think itās tackle, aegis, headbutt, then tackle under.
Hmm I guess that works, I forget if you can throw people while theyāre dashing or not. Is there ever a situation where ping pong combos are ideal or are they just for swagging out?
As for Dudley, I find that the dash tackle is the most reliable setup for me. It only gets tricky when I have to do it against Alex or Hugo
Isnāt it just dash up MP headbutt then MK tackle?
Thereās another nice unblockable on Dudley mid screen off a headbutt.
If they tech roll:
Headbutt > MP Aegis > MK tackle as early as you can - this goes through Dudley and you end up the other side. Can then do like low short s.mp x 3, c.jab x 2 then crouch fierce (might be remembering that wrong)
I come here, straight up, desperate. The partition on the midscreen shoto unblockable really is incredibly easy; Iām very comfortable connecting M.Tackle into aegis, I really can feel how close I am to the finish line. I just canāt land the f.mk. Everytime, it either is blocked (not enough distance made after 2 dashes and f.mk) or it connects, the aegis gets two hits and the shoto falls out. Iām trying my best; but it really feels like everyone else has a longer kick than me. Thereās nothing left to practice; because I donāt even know what Iām doing wrong.
