so i tested out who ex aegis works on after headbutt heres the list
shotos,urien,twelve if hes breathing right otherwise the headbutt wontâ even hit,alex,remy,q but the aegis hits twice so you can only do one shoulder then aegis,chun,duds,elena if your headbutt is lucky enough to hit, and hugo

basically if theyâre tall enough to get hit by the headbutt go ahead and throw out the ex aegis
about the twins unblockable, why do you need to whiff cr.fierce first and then do rh knee drop? why not just do the knee drop right away so you have more time to do the partitioned headbutt? i can do this unblockable but the thing is when i do the headbutt, the twins get up already.
oh and true tech what a coincidence; i just tried out that combo a few days ago. i was trying to see if you can do ex headbutt after you cancel the cr.fierce (1 hit) but i donât think itâs good. you only get one hit from the ex headbutt.
last thing; when youâre near the corner and you canât see it, you would usually do mp aegis so that you can continue into the corner. But how come you donât use EX tackle? iâve seen it used almost midscreen and it brings urien all the way to the corner. I know some characters will bounce the other way but i was wondering who it works on.
I THINK:
If you do the kneedrop before that time, Yun/Yang wont fall in the Aegis, but fall next to it. Theyâre able to flip out because the screen allows so (because you do the kneedrop). I hope you understand my top of the class English⌠=/
if you do dash back kneedrop theyâll bounce off the aegis and pushes em out so theyâre to far away to headbutt over
and you can do cr.fierce,ex headbutt on taller people
i tried doing dash unblockable against dudley; i got the dash partitioned tackle but it hits dudley instead of going under him. What does this mean? iâm doing it too early or late?
im having a hard time landnig the corner double MKtackle on the twinsâŚ
can anybody give tips? =)
the twins are particularly tough to land 2 tackles in corner against. iâd say, go for the reset mixup, or for pure meter damage.
i see Rx do it a couple of times against KO and the double tackle plus headbut combo really does great damage plus gives good meter.
are there any tricks for this? i can do it a bit fairly on shotos⌠but not with twins, alex or dudley or hugo⌠T_T
yeah, iâve seen RX do it on the twins, but iâve also seen him MISS about half the time too. RX missing a tackle? that just goes to show how strict the timing is for the twins.
Yeah, my opinion its just not worth it agaisnt twins unless you are trying to show off and you are CLEARLY winning the match heh. Other wise, Ex shoulder + 2 more shoulders does enough damage to Twins.
heh to this day i have yet to get double tackle on Twins even once. I even try forward tackle then short tackle. No cigar =(

Thanks madcats, yeah iv almost given up. I have like 20 reasons why not to do double tackle on Twins just to convince myself its ok not being able to execute it lol!

Seeing RX miss combos makes me happy though, if he is missing shit just mens Urien is such a technical character. Takes a lot of hard work to be perfect with his combos in the heat of battle. So make sure you always have a plan B in case execution fails =D

yea itâs hard as hell⌠you have to get the 1st tackle as early as possible.
iâve gotten it a few times, but i agree⌠not worth doing cuz probably going to miss most of the time.
What do i do after i cancel and aegis from a tackle in the corner?
So iâm in the corner, i cr. hp. mk tackle XX jp aegis⌠then what? I donât know how to perform the unblockable, nor what to do once i have them guard breaked for good damage.
This goes for midscreen too, i break guard and donât know what to do for good damage.
My main concern is knowing what to do after i bust the aegis in the corner, please help!
