Sexshih is right to a degree. I usually save ex shoulder for the weak characters, like akuma and yun/yang. You just cause SO much damage with the ex shoulder into 2 more shoulders that its pretty worth it. Most of the time it is just enough to kill them, if not then go with one more aegis trap and then bust the ex shoulder combo. Otherwise, its always more wise to bust the aegis trap in the corner. If you cant get shoulder, fb, shoulder…practice just doing 1 shoulder into aegis trap. Though doing the charge partition needed for that is a lot harder then doing shoulder, fb, shoulder hehe

jason: my friend was saying after either ex tackle to tackle or vice versa i should end with a s.fp… cuz it gives you more bar and has knockdown… but i don’t know what is more worth while… cuz if i finish with a tackle anyways they’re gonna be down. i was thinking if anything it’d be better cuz they’ll be in the air for a bit so i can dash back and sphere, aegis… then corner pressure… what do you think would be a better option?
I for one usualy just do max shoulders. Never tested which gives more meter, ill test it tonight and see whats up.

i tested it.
max tackles with ex does 9 dmg more than ending with s.fp
i dunno about bar building… i’d say it should be about the same if not more finishing with the tackle that is.
maybe you’ll get more stun from s.fp? i don’t know but that’s not something that really matters.
so yea… max tackles is the better choice.
has anyone else had trouble doing the 2mk tackles to mp headbutt on yun/yang…
i got it like 2 times and never again… any tips or tricks on how to do it or do you guys have the same problem.
it’s just really strict timing… I’ve seen even RX missing it, so don’t be too concerned on having trouble with that
You just have to do the tackles at the earliest moments possible. Don’t worry about it though, it’s pretty damn hard to get this consistent. I believe this has been discussed already. People just need to look/search through threads…

IS this setup worth it seeing how much bar it takes cr HP> EX Headbut > LP Sphere xx MP Aegis > Tackle under FWD mk as breaker :wonder: Works in the same kinda was the dash tackle setup works just uses more bar
To be honest i would never use a setup mid game or early on in a match that required EX AND Aegis. Those setups I use in order to kill someone to bring them to near death because i missed judge how much life they had :rolleyes:
Also if you get a cHP off mid screen why not just do a tackle xx Aegis? If it put them in the corner you can trap them their…if they stay midscreen you can just tackle again. All and all more meter when its over.
It seems like an easy unblockable. Somebody posted something similar: cr HP> EX Headbut > MP Sphere xx LP Aegis > Tackle under dash dash f.MK. I don’t think it’s worth when you can do a partitioned headbutt or tackle setup, but if you can’t do any of them (which you should learn), they are good to impress your friends. But the meter is REALLY important to urien’s game. Well… aegis is the important.
c.HP, EX headbutt, LP sphere x MP aegis, s.MP x RH kneedrop, MP headbutt to other side, break block with whatever… Works on shotos, hugo, blah
