So this Evo was enjoyable just like last year’s Evo. As for all this girl on girl drama; it was expected. Some people need to grow up and just realize that they are entering a video game competition and sometimes things are said that are not agreeable to both parties. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the matches and sadly Keno did not do as well as the world expected but there is always next year! I might just be entering more tournaments now… who knows!

-Stompchu has been talking trash to sherry (and some female gamers) for a while (1 year, she claimed)
-Sherry v Stompchu’s set was close and ended last game, last round, so was in no way one sided
-Upon losing sherry gets up and leaves; stompchu calls her out for not wanting to shake her hand and sherry replies that she has no reason for doing so seeing has stomp has been straight disrespecting her all along
-Stompchu calls her trash, Sherry walks back and confronts her, calls her ugly and whatnot.

I’ve known Stephanie for… a few years now despite not being close friends with her, I’ve known her for a long while now.
Both girls have similar personalities, with slight differences.
Just so you kids know… Stephanie is competitive. She shit talks, but she is having fun and being competitive, she doesn’t shit talk just to shit talk people because she’s a bitch, nor is it because she *WANTS TO BE OMG I’M FEMALE SF INTERNET FAMOUS, YOU PEOPLE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO ME"… which I can’t say the same for most other female players.
The Sherry I met a few years ago, to the Sherry of today… has changed quite a bit. I think she likes her internet fame and having guys trying to get in her pants despite them being a bunch of pathetic losers the majority of the time(Not even talking about Marn, Marn has more class than a lot of these people). While she’s not a bad person, she takes shit way too personally and thinks way too highly of herself.
Sherry isn’t good. She’s not. Who cares about that though. Stephanie is better, clearly better. I’ve seen both play many o’ times, and Stephanie is way better, despite starting way later… but again, what does that have to do with this.
Stephanie attracts drama a lot… because she’s outspoken and she has fun with it. It’s no different than how Wong talks, or even Marn realistically, and for both Wong and Marn, they aren’t seriously shit talking people, they are just making it more competitive and fun. Try seeing things like that for a second. Now, Look at how Sherry is reacting, which is obviously not “competitive”. Stephanie talked shit about Sherry’s game… Sherry insulted her personally and her looks and everything.
Even if you don’t agree with Stephanie trash talk, no matter how you look at it Sherry crossed a line.
