I saw the video and honestly it’s in Steph’s best interest for it not to get out. It basically shows the end of the match and Sherry quietly gets up and leaves with her stick. Didn’t shake Stephanie’s hand (but honestly I wouldn’t either if someone was harassing me the way Stephanie was). Stephanie I think at this point is pointing at Sherry and talking shit (there was no audio but I’m certain she was doing the “HOW COME YOU WONT SHAKE MY HAND HUH? HUH? WHY ARE YOU A SORE LOSER LIKE THAT!” cuz I’ve seen her do it several times to NorCal people up here u__u)… anyway Stephanie’s mouth is going, Sherry is almost gone but turns around, puts her stick on the chair, and comes at Steph. You can’t see her really “shove” Steph or anything, I think she just poked her on the shoulder or something… either way, she came back over to Steph. Someone goes to break them, up… then the video ends. There weren’t like fists or legs flying or anything (thank god) if that’s what you guys were worried about.
I’ve known Stephanie for a long time and she’s always bullied Sherry like this and I’ve never heard of Sherry retaliating; I’m not surprised it finally happened. I can’t really blame Sherry either because if someone trash-talked me constantly through every possible avenue, I’d probably snap sooner or later too. Anyway knowing both girls and seeing the recorded footage, I think it’s a huge stretch to say Sherry “got pissed because she lost” since I’m absolutely certain something like this could have happened just as easily if Sherry had won (and I heard it was a close game too).
Not trying to make friends, or enemies… or frienemies… Just calling it how I see it. Everyone who knows Stephanie pretty much knows what happened though, it’s not unusual for her to pick on other girls in the community. I mean even Stephanie’s boyfriend himself apologized to Sherry for his own girlfriend’s actions.

Miranda, where do you get off? You are putting words in my mouth. A lot of the things you said are untrue. I did NOT apologize to Sherry on behalf of Stephanie in regards to what happened. I didn’t even speak to Sherry at all during the entire event. I have never talked to her ever.
I heard from several people you did but I guess it’s possible all of them were lying. I heard a bunch of other things regarding other girls Stephanie has bullied and I didn’t want to believe it but the evidence is overwhelming. Don’t know who to trust at this point.
Believe me though I didn’t make it up out of thin air. I said it because I heard it from others; if it’s not true then I’m sorry for posting it. I just heard it from someone I trusted.

first, as someone who was standing right there and heard everything and also had a friend who recorded some of the drama and aftermath, stephanie did start the shit talking during their match. Later sherry did the shit talking during stephanie’s match.
but shit talking in a video game tournament (and forums) aren’t new.
Not saying that’s an excuse for it but you need to zone that shit out because in the end it’s you vs your opponent and what matters is what’s happening on the tv screen.
Gotta have thick fucking skin in this scene and let that shit slide off your shoulder.
unfortunately, i don’t know the past drama between these two but a fight breaking out would’ve been the LAST thing the female invitational needed for exposure. I’m glad someone did break it up.
Stephanie, sherry - it was nice meeting both of you. hopefully next year you guys can settle your differences by playing. I would’ve rather seen a first of five or ten instead. :shy:
