I am having same problems, he feels different for some reason, a bit slower but that might be just my imagination since his damage also took a hit.
I am not sure but were we able to combo Ex.Eagle peak from his cr.mk ? I still can do it off his st.mp tho. I wish he could combo his Lk.whirlwind off his cr.mk, it feels unnatural to not be able to combo it.
Yeah, I wasn’t able to get s.Fierce CC xx RH Fireball to combo at all in this mini-test. The Canada Cup build is different from this mini-test build that we got though.
In Beta Phase 2 we couldn’t combo EX Eagle Peak off of cr.Forward.
Another thing I found out was that they removed his ability to cancel the second hit of f+Strong into V-Trigger. You can only cancel the first hit into V-Trigger now.
Hmm… But the changes seem so targeted. Noone used neutral jump ex dive yet, but it would be a good tool against fireballs. CC st. Hp nerf seems weird too? If you want damage from CC st. Hp you need to use ex?
Unless the roll was nerfed, which leaves me baffled, because it already kind of sucked.
Does it count as a nerf if the game isn’t released yet? We’ve all known that the frame data and damage was going to be in constant flux until they got it nailed down. I have to commend Capcom, they’re using the beta as an actual beta instead of a PR pre-release gimmick.
They removed everyone’s neutral jump EX dives. Rashid, Ken, and Cammy all lost them. Supposedly they thought it made neutral jumping to strong because it lets you beat fireballs with 0 risk (which is true).
So can he still do s.Fierce CC xx EX Fireball xx d+vskill, cr.Fierce (2), s.Strong xx Short Eagle Dive? I wouldn’t mind him needing to use EX meter to convert into good damage off of s.Fierce CC. Seems like what they want universally between the cast.
So is Rashid 's overheard considered airborne since he kind of leaps at you? And does it beat throws? I was watching one of my old beta replays and I tricked my opponent to think I was going for tick throw but I went for the overheard while he was in throw animation and hit it so I was just curious.
