Well, I don’t know if you were directing that at me, but I have a lot to say about all this on nobody’s side in particular if there are any. I think there’s just a lot of random bullshit going on in this thread, and that people could’ve worked shit out without a lot of petty insults, pissing contests, and random drama.
The only reason people are even getting pissy is because this is overly complicated for no reason. Marvel was not in, people said stuff, and marvel should have just been put in. Even if there wasn’t a great turnout, there would have been a decent one for sure, and it’s not really worth the pointless bickering. Somehow people managed to blow this shit WAY out of proportion when it’s a really simple problem. There was no marvel, people needed to just mention that they wanted to have marvel in, not “WTF MARVEL=SCENE WE WILL EAT YOUR BABIES IF NO MARVEL IS HAD”, and then the appropriate response would have been to just toss it in there not “FUCK EVERYBODY WHINING BITCHES” or whatever was said.
I’ve brought this up with Mandel, and though he disagrees I felt kind of pissed that people are making a big deal about how marvel got pulled from RSWS because of historically low turnout, but 3S got pulled from Zach’s after 1 event with low turnout. I’ve tried to stay away from the harping on 3s crusade for a while, because I know people hate that shit, but that is my two cents about the matter.
If people are gonna make this a personal issue about competing egos and shit(i.e. turning thread into a flame war, or abusing position to put in less popular games) then they are wasting the potential we can get out of a psuedo NW tourney. I am really excited to see a big tourney happen or something that could in the future lead into NW majors, so let’s set aside petty bullshit and pissing contests and just play the damn games, please.
No, my comments are not targeting any one person, nor are they for either side in the earlier argument. (I am explicitly restating this for emphasis. Regardless of paraphrasing some people, and not agreeing with choices being made, I am just critiquing attitudes that are not constructive in my opinion. I am not trying to start flame wars/drama with anyone)

Small problem with the website you have it that the first event is from 12am the 3:00pm should be from 12pm to three pm, if that was how it was in the schedule I sent sorry about that.
What is everyones feelings on needing more time to get foood? I figured since things didn’t get rolling tell 12:00 people would be able to grab stuff. But we can always increase the between breaks if people feel its neccesary. Currently the time at the end of the night for special events is only there just incase… we don’t know for sure how long things are going to take so this is tentative. Please post up if any thoughts or changes to the schedule you guys would like. I personally like paul’s idea and will talk to some people about switching it. With the extra time we can try and budget in a dinner break around 6:00 or so but its really up to you guys because if you are all itching to scoot home the sooner we get this done the better. So yeah any thoughts on changes to the schedule are welcome!
Gray Fox: No it wasn’t directed at you, it was directed at people who keep bringing up stuff that is not helpful. Number of entrants of 1 game being higher than another is pointless and as can be seen starts beef. So everyone who followed up Samb’s reply with stuff was just causing a flame war, I don’t want that kind of beef to ruin our tourney, the nw is too small to have that kind of fighting. If you guys have personal beef take it to the games and not to random shit talk on the boards. Hopefully this will be the last I have to say about this (sorry if this sounds a little overly caustic I’m not trying to start shit with anyone, you are all decent cats in your own right, but shit talk each other somewhere else. Hell start a thread to shit talk everyone just leave it out of this one.)

Where to start.....? Im sorry Ross but shit has to be said. This tourney is done before it started. What you and others have called my random hating, what other people " the people alienated from the tourney " and myself i call facts that people seem not want to deal with. I bring up my points on what should be what and its instantly reguarded as hate instead of looking at the truth i put out there. So in esscense, most of yall have been busy arguing me instead of the points i laid out there and alot of people have taken notice.
Why is this tourney done? i got several reasons!
**1. The pure outrage of the fact That Marvel had to make this much noise to be in a major tournament in the 1st place and is still at this point a " tenative " game.** No real solid reason why it wasn't in the 1st place. and when I and others ask why, People that have answered want call it hating. **Espically anything i have to say.** Instead of looking at what I have to say and saying to yourself " Jetay is just hating and trying to be contraversal " and just to let yall know, i can give a flying fuck about SRK controversy. You should have looked at it as. " why the hell is Jetay fighting for Marvel to be in the tourney? he dosen't even play marvel seriously!!! " but no. as usual, people said Fuck thinking. **Why is it impossable for people to think that a nigga might want something beyond my own gain.** I wanted this tourney to be tight, see the people You guys said you wanted to come down. Now this tourney is headed to more skid marks then fuckin Daytona.
** 2. The GROSS stupidity and Flagarent dick swinging of Hellsap.** Ross seeing that you are the only person to admit to know what im talking about im gonna talk to you. Hellsap from the beggening of this club has been on this straight **" Its my club and i can be a bitch if i want to. " tip** and has gotten progressivly worse sense then. He has gotten to the point of getting in my face and yours to get what he wants trying to use position in the club to do it. You had to seperate us last time i was up there and you know this b/c you knew he was way out of line with the way he was talking to people and he was about to get knocked the fuck out. Let shit be known now that. Alot of people that don't know Hellsap, have asked me what was up with him. and i gave them the straight up deal and what he is about! Another reason people arent really down to come down to this tourney that is partly headed by someone as gross as him.
**3. Im betting Alot of people up north arent to happy with the way Kyle was replyed too.** I mean really. one of the most upstanding people on SRK and in person who barely comes on the boards. gives his two cents which has been alot more worth then alot of what other people have been putting on here and people have the nerve to try to shit on it. Way to go there guys. Make everybody feel welcome:confused:. That shit in itself was gross. He put up the thoughts on what alot of the top players in marvel up there were thinking about this whole tourney and for it to get put down the way it did. Is another reason why this tourney is headed to grossland.
And just to let shit be known. People on this Jetay is about contraversy shit. It really is whatever. From the jump i have always put how i have felt on whatever it maybe without reguard to whoever and however yall feel about it. Most people recognize this as what it should be. Im not gonna be unclear on Any of my belifs on a subject and im not gonna hold back on those same belifs just because some of yall is sensitive. I am the same on this board as i am in person. and from what i have experianced in dealing with people on here and in life, some of yall arent. I will never let that happen to me. The some of you can keep on hating the way i do me but the im still gonna get respect from the people i want it from. I just cant for some of yall to realize **" everybody just aint meant to get along with everybody "** and start acting like how yall comfortable and stop being afraid of what yall think of you on here and in life. And if you hate the way i go around getting respect. i never really wanted your respect anyway.I would like to point out that marvel is not tentative anymore. It is in the schedule. The schedule itself is tentative, but not marvel.

The club business with Hellsap that you and others have had a problem with isn’t really important for this tournament. While he will be there to help on staff, it will not just be him and Fatbear and I are trying to work hard to keep everything fair and balanced.
Middle post ninja edit: As to the reply’s to kyle’s post… I don’t know, i’ve heard his name And id love to see him and the rest of the top players for mvc 2 do come down and play. The reply’s to your post were as far as I can tell two, one was a guy from seattle… the other was a guy from portland I’ve never heard of, I don’t think I’ve ever met him, so I don’t think that should be used to represent how portland feels. Also the only reason i didn’t say anything is because his post was well thought out made sense and needed no reply. Thats all.
I want this tournament to be the best it can be. I really have no beef with anyone on either side of this arguement. I just think that all the arguing about it is making it worse. I respect your opinions jetay and I know alot of other people do, but arguing back and forth over stuff like marvel (which has been fixed) isn’t helping anybody with anything. I’m sorry all this started, I’m sorry some of the people in marvel and some of the people in gg decided to act in certain ways. It didn’t help anything. Please lets just get this back on track. I mean no disrespect to anyone in the community. But seriously guys this kind of discussion isn’t helping.
Marvel is on the schedule! - The only reason we didn’t have it on before was because of turnouts we saw, it meant no disrespect to the community. After outpouring of support we asked for, we put it on the list. All this got blown way out of hand, I’m sure everyone would like to see it done with. So lets just try and have a good tourney and work towards that purpose.

Jeeeeez…this thread is still zany as ever. Well if we look at it from Jetay’s point of view, he made that post and then Kabukimono replied to it. Jetay then told me online immediately after that, that he got neg repped. I hate to get all Scooby Doo/Mystery Van/Sherlock Holmes with it, but besides me, Kabukimono was the only other person online in the NW section I saw in the past hour that has premium. Considering what’s been going on in this thread I don’t blame Jetay for thinking that at all. Hey, maybe I’m wrong, but I know I didn’t neg rep him, because Jetay’s the homie, but also cause to me neg repping someone is corny. Because to me if it really comes down to that, I could just flame that person, private message them, or ignore them altogether. WTF does neg repping do? But it’s funny how Jetay made a post about people being two faced, then gets neg repped, and then makes a prediction (to me, online) about how people would deny neg repping him. It’s kinda hard to maintain some sort of peace when people do stuff like that. I think it’ll be interesting to see how the event goes with how crazy this thread is.
Also while I’m posting, Gray Fox…3S being omitted after one tourney at Zach’s and Marvel being omitted from a regional tourney are two totally different things (yes I’m aware it’s on the schedule now). Apples and oranges.

I checked out the T5:DR price today on a friend’s PS3 and it seems they still offer the old offline version for $10 cheaper than the online version. If I end up having to buy someone a copy of T5 for this event, I’d love to save $10 but I’m wondering if there are any other differences like the online one is a later version of DR.
Sam- Buy the full version and share it with another person who doesn’t have the game and have them pay the $10 difference*. T5DR Online is the way to go.
