Ugh. This is just getting stupid:
I’m looking at this thread, and seeing more people saying that they’d come for marvel than there are people signed up for Tekken, and as you’ve already said, we have plenty of time to change things before the tournament…
Which is why Marvel should be included now, not later. All that excluding Marvel has done is to create a lot of animosity between people organizing the tournament and people who want Marvel. Note that this will alienate players other than those arguing here, some that even wouldn’t have otherwise cared if Marvel was included, just because of the massive drama that’s happening.
So include Marvel on the signups, and if not enough people show for it, make the decision to exclude it then, not now. Like you’ve said, we have plenty of time. Adding Marvel can do no harm to the well-being of the tournament in these circumstances, however, as proven by this ridiculous flame war, not including it soon can.
Okay before things get more heated…
We may drop tekken, no official word yet. Marvel will be in and added to sign ups. Depending on how fancy Sam Is you’ll probably have to reregister, I"m sorry about that one.
No more arguing lets just get to normal talk about how dope tourney is.

So far, 3 Seattle marvel players have posted in this thread. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume the other 4328 players haven’t had a chance for some reason.
To bring a quick end to the mayhem, I’m going to add Marvel to the sign up page. Consider it tentatively added to the roster. Please have everyone you know sign up and get counted. If we see enough action there, the chances of the game being added will greatly increase.
P.S. If anyone who already signed up would play MvC2 if it were included, let me know so I can edit your entry.

Also, the big issue is that marvel was not included for the initial registration when the region as a whole had been discussing a regional tourney AND voted on what games could draw the most had already been agreed upon.
Glad to see marvel on the site now. When the time comes and you guys see that only 3 people have signed up then by all means remove the game, or any other game that has too small a showing.

Speak for yourself. Seattle aint the only people that play marvel and it isnt your game just b/c you are better at it. I mean hell, i would play Marvel more then i would 3S or T5. This is “marvel is a seattle game” stuff is stupid. there are enough in oregon alone to justify Marvel being in this tournament. There own reason for GG being there is enough of a reason for Marvel being there. Lets just get something straight, Im not anti-GG, Im anti-GG players, b/c they pull shit like this to get there game on the main stage. Like when Mark " hellsap " tried to kick 6 ST players of a big T.V. at a club event to a small ass t.v. in the back of the room so that him and 1-2 other guys could play GG. The game had well established rotation, Mark and his gay ass crew had another T.V. but no, he tried to pull this " Its my club and i can cry if i want to " type shit. Its one of the main reason’s alot of people stopped showing up to his event. Thats why I called bull shit on the whole " Marvel needs to make noise " shit b/c i know how the people are who are running this show. I may have been wrong on a Person " Ross " but my statements and reasoning were and still are correct.
