Just giving this thread a float so everyone knows that we got a grind session coming up this Saturday. Some Northerners expressed some interest in attending so if there is anyone who wants to come, PM me with your number so I can give you the address/directions.
The last session was very productive and I think everyone benefited from it in a very viable way. We got pizza, tunes, and serious grinding. Always good times

Mindlessly trolling is for online only! I hate heading to a session when I want to learn some new matchups or work on new setups and get nothing but peoples alternate troll characters, where you won’t learn anything.
Ill be coming down on Saturday to work with the tacoma crew.
I’m hoping I can get some matches with scubasteve, I’m still unconfident with the chun match and in need of a salty run back from the ocv he pulled on my team last week at gameclucks.
I also want to runback the ladder match with shredder, I’ve rewatched the match from toe-fu and am unseltled by the result.
If anyone is in need of some Honda practice I am more than willing to help however I can with my limited reverse match knowledge. I know how to beat you but not quite sure how you can beat me, lol.
I’m off work at 6pm in Bellevue, hope to be there around 7pm.
Let me know if you want me to bring my setup. I’ve got a ps3 and monitor if needed.

Barry man, glad you can make it. These sessions are designed to be very productive and they’ve been effective so far. That option select I did to you at Tofu was something I discovered and worked on at the last one on the training set up. Mikey perfected his Adon frame traps and has applied it a lot since then.
We will definitely run back our ladder match. I do need some more Honda practice, but would also like to spend some time on the Training Room set up with your Rose. It’s good and I see very few online.
We are good on monitors, but thanks. I limit it to 2 set ups to keep losses frustrating. Hope you bring your camera though, filming matches and doing postmortems on them is such a good way to improve. See you here man.
yeah man,the last one was hella good stuff. Discovering that new technology as matt would say is always fun. Can’t forget about the classic “phantom” matches that were played. Can’t wait til saturday!

Rain City Grind may be streamed for everyone’s entertainment. It will most likely be janky and shaky as hell but it should be funny.

From kirkland it only took me 40 mins, at 85 mph, lol.

I’m planning on hosting a similar type of event at my place soon. I want to keep it concentrated on leveling up main characters. No ken for steve, lol.

aye dude, my ken only lost twice out of like 15 matches, at one point had 9 wins in a row racked up. The guy has a hard time losing to say the least, and I really only pull him out when I feel like I need a win haha

Good session last night. I think just about everyone hit the training set up which is good. I got the training I needed for last night. Shoutouts to everyone who came down. Didn’t even have enough seats to accommodate everyone, lol. But I’m glad this thing is getting popular. It was a productive night. Keep your eyes peeled for the updated thread for the next Grind.

Ok folks, another Grind night is upon us.
This one will have a Marvel set up but the focus will still be mainly on SF4. The reason being, many people have already said that Marvel is going to be just for fun for the time being and since SF4 is already established as the main event at most tourneys we’re gonna focus on training in that. If things with Marvel change so will the Grind.
