ragequitter…
why do I get these guys?
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c173/rmszero5/100_0715.jpg
I don’t even get why he ragequit. He had an oni mode Soki with full bar. He could have won that fight easy…
^I also wonder about that. The match looks like it was going pretty equally. but when he pulled out oni mode, it could have went all him. I’m guessing he had shit connection or something irl on his side got in the way. Because there is NO reason to rage quit when you have an almost full health oni mode Souki with full meter.
I had 3 rage quitters in a row on ranked, and for some reason, I get the losses on my record when they disconnect. Most times I have a good connection against people. I wouldn’t quit online, I’m still learning the basics, along with some advanced stuff, and once I get enough money for a stick, I’ll start attending live tournaments.
i’ve had a few matches now that i think weren’t rage quit but just due to shit connections which get lost. i do think most of these peeps are raging out though.
Let’s just say people really don’t like my Saki/Tekkaman team. Holy shit people.
And yeah, in BB you could choose whether or not easy inputs were off in your lobby, but no such luck for Wii games. I think that raw Wiimotes should be banned at tournaments because you can execute charge moves without charge.
Capcom found an interesting way to punish repeat-disconnecters in Tatsunoko vs Capcom
Wonder how many times one has to RQ to join this league of RQ’ers
BRILLIANT!
Oh man, that Soki had some delicious standing jab right at that screen. Why would he quit? Maybe it was just a connection drop.
I had one match disconnect that I don’t think was an actual rage quit even though the guy was losing by a bit. He was in the middle of switching out and had just done a combo. So unless he spazzed out and quit while mashing buttons, it was probably an honest connection drop.
Hmm, so how is the overall general feel online? Is this just primary raqequitters is the average game online really that laggy and everyone RQ?
Actually, this is old news. What I’d like to hear from online players is this actually taking effect. With all the bickering over RQs, I’m not sure if it’s really happening.
I don’t really care about punishing rage quitters when i’m not able to choose my opponent ( thus the quality of the connection ) like in Street 4, BlazeBlue, even KOF 12 let you choose your opponent. This is the important thing to change, if Capcom still care about the game of course.
This should be be changed. They need to show rank signal strength and how much they disconnect (they do that in Madden). It’d would make the matches better. IMO.
8000+ BP’ers seem to ragequit me all the time. Funny to see these guys are so high up, because they’re usually pretty mediocre lol.
Online is horrible.
I quit playing online recently when I realized that 80% of my matches have intolerable lag.
The mass amount of ragequitters is just something else that takes away from the fun.
I was desperately trying to make something out of it, but I can’t deny it anymore,
the netplay simply sucks.
Yeah the online in this game is just totaly unenjoyable when you factor in lag, input delay, & wiimote users.
fixed, but you’re also correct.
one thing to keep in consideration is what time you play. in the early afternoon and late at night i have much, MUCH less laggy/newbish matches. when I play around 3pm or so every match i get sucks. funny, thats right when school gets out…
Ranked is pointless, just find a bunch of people with decent connections to you and add them to your friend list.
^^ This. I prefer playing people I actually know and can talk to anyway. IRC is your best friend. (=
But really, I can’t even say that I’ve had anyone RQ on me… I think it’s only happened to me once, matter of fact. And it was probly becaus I was trying to practice as PTX lol. I know that I’ve d’ced once or twice on purpose at the start of a match, but for personal reasons. Like putting food on the stove and forgetting about it until you smell something. Not fun.
