i’ll admit that i did rage quit once because the lag was so fucking terrible i didn’t think i deserved the loss. i was more raged at the connection than the fact tha ti lost. i’m not making a habit of it though. its only happened to me a few times from other people.
I’ve been ragequit on by more than just these three, but in cases of bad lag or players with less than 1000, I can understand not calling them out.
at least in SFIV you lose points for doing it…dont you?
And the worst thing is you cant check who you played and you cant send them messages after

I rage quit whenever there is unplayable lag I just don’t think I deserve a loss for my opponents horrible connection.
Fair enough but whats the excuse when there isnt lag? Your probably just saying that because your losing and even though there isnt lag thats just your excuse
Ive only had 1 laggy game and it was unplayable but I stuck it out until the end then just quit when it finished…I actually won in the lag aswell
It’s not like the matches take 10 years to complete. Just finish the match and say no to the rematch if the lag is bad. Complaining about other people’s connection as a reason for you to lose just doesn’t make any sense. They’re playing with the same lag. Sure, it sucks, but no game has perfect netcode, so just deal with the lag every once in a while.

I had one horrible lag match, but I kept playing and won by the time limit.
I had one that was pretty unplayable too, like it paused every other second. It was worse than Brawl.
I just mashed buttons while eating, cause I didn’t want to get added to that DC list or whatever.
Only guy who legitimately RQ’d on me was some guy playing PTX and quit halfway through cause he couldn’t get a hit on me.
A good 50% of the matches I play have horrible lag, but I still play them and my opponent does too most of the time.
I’ve had more people ragequit on me during lagless matches once they realize they have no chance of winning.
Most recently was a Zero/Megaman user “mega77” had like 2,500BP or something.
The worst thing about that match was he didn’t quit until the exact second i finished his second character off…
He might as well have done it earlier since it was almost a perfect win.
Another person’s connection making you lose makes perfect sense when you play Zero & Karas and they play PTX. That alone could have made me give up altogether on this game’s online play even if 80% of my other games weren’t entirely unplayable.
If I fight a lag person and rematch them I just pick a giant and go to town. Free wins.
How exactly do you plan to beat PTX with that team anyway? j/k

I just had some 100 BP guy called Sato ragequit on me twice. The first time I was beating the shit out of his Ken the Eagle and Joe the Condor. The second time he used G. Lightan in a desperate attempt to throw me to death cause he must have thought I was too retarded to not know how to break away.
