I’m not going to lie, I’m not exactly the best player ever.

But I had someone quit on me for the first time today. I’m a really bad Sakura player, and he was Bison. I was going to put up a picture, buuuut…

At first, he said he was irritated by people who spam moves and only know one button (directed towards me, obv). When I told him that I was poking, doing tatsus, otoshis (or w/e they’re called) and all that, and that he was just sweeping and doing psycho crushers, he sent another mail apologising for the disconnect and saying that he was just stressed from shotos like Ryu and Ken and that he didn’t want to start the day on a loss.

Bless his little cotton socks.

I wouldn’t worry too much when your opponents starts disconnecting on you. While it can get annoying at times, it’s one of those signs that you are getting better :party:.

It’s funny how some likes to dictate how you play when they cannot counter a certain move effectively.

Let them worry about their “Battle Points” while you get better by playing tougher players. Good luck!

I don’t understand why people ragequit. I just got the TE stick and I am a bit rusty using a stick and so use to the pad. I got my ass handed to me like 6 times in a row by this pretty decent player, but I just messaged the guy complimenting his play and added him as a friend. Once I get used to the TE stick, I will have a good test against him. It did suck when I would go to pull off moves and I kept wiffing.

I think the best solution if people want to do something like this is to first msg the person you think ragequit on you. Say something rude, ask them if they ragequit, whatever.

If in their response they admit they ragequit, go ahead and post that response.

Sometimes I accuse people and they say it was an accidental disconnect and seem actually apologetic about it. When that happens I apologize and accept the explanation.

Ragequitters are generally douchebags and will continue to be douchebags after you msg them.

I’m not sure how it works on the PS3, but on 360, it’s easy to tell if they quit on purpose. If you go check their profile status right after they drop, if they are on the dashboard, they quit on purpose.

what the hell is with all the people taking pictures of people disconecting? What do you play with a camera beside you just incase someone quits? lol. Dont blame the dicconectors, blame capcom for making it possible , its just human nature for most people to quit if its an option. I have learned to not care about my rank in game’s anymore, as there will always be boosters and quiters. Just get use to it if you are going to continue to play online. Taking pics is not going to do anything. @^: I record my matches anyway. So its not like I go running for a camera when I get quitted on. And it does do something. I had a kid begging me to take this vid off youtube. He was demanding that I take his name off of it because it “infringed on his privacy”. He was obviously worried itd ruin his online rep

I only put the vid up after he said he only quit because of lag and in the vid you can clearly see there is no lag (It was a 4 bar fight)

Lol amen. In fact, I’m sure a lot of the quitters take pleasure in doing so, knowing that the guy on the other end is fuming pissed. It’s ironic that it’s called ragequitting because the only person who’s more enraged is the guy who didn’t quit.
