At first I cared, and I did screenshot a few quitters because I was enraged…but quickly that passed and now the only thing I care about is becoming a better player.
Forget BP, forget rank…just let me play some matches where it takes EVERYTHING I have to eek out a win, that is all I really want.
While I agree with Specs that you need to maybe learn the art of the paragraph, I repped you for that post anyway :china:
The key is to associate with the right people. If you’re still trying to play any random old person on SRK and play with the algae at the bottom of the pool…of course you’re not going to get any better. They don’t know that in true competitive play anything goes and don’t understand that any strategy utilized in SF has a counter of some type. They become complacent when someone plays the game against them in a way they are not used to and instead of learning to adapt and further their skillset in the game.
I’m at the point now where everyone on my friends list are SFIV players. 80 percent are more are SRK people. Guess what…whenever I get online I have a good time playing people with good connections and a variety of characters and playstyles and most all of them are good sports. When you pick people out at random online…you get out the effort you put in to look for quality players.
Oh goodie, I just got a good one of “Ryuhu” wussing out last night after his Baby Ryu got pimped by the Golden Dictator. One round and done, gonna post it up.
Funny thing for me is I kind of like it when someone quits. Who really cares about BP? It reminds me of the temper-tantrums some people would throw back in the old SFII arcade days. I remember this one dude my friends and I were owning over and over and over. It was kind of sad, a bit uncomfortable, but funny. We were kids and he was probably in his late 20’s early 30’s.
Finally he had enough and just punched the arcade screen HARD! That had to hurt so bad but it was hilarious…then he finally walked out with a damaged hand. It was one of those great one quarter days.
Go ahead and wuss out. Your points are worthless quiters.
Great story. Down to 3rd round be blanka. He goes for ultra I block & try to punish with chubs ultra bad idea. I go under him but he was too busy trying to ragequit I finished the wifed ultra animation while he just stood there then throw FTW. Lesson don’t ragequit before the game is over.
Frankly, I don’t think any determined DC’er even remotely cares about the list.
I don’t want to be the nay-sayer, but stop wasting your time with these lists. They don’t solve anything, people who constantly DC will continue doing so.
