Its funny you say that, it usually only happens when I do that as well. Say I loose the first round and just start hitting start to try and speed things up, the 2nd round will start to fade in than lock up before or right at “Fight”.
Some times it pushes through and sometimes it drops. I immediately try and search them out again, I find them again about 70% of the time. Unfortunately there’s nothing you can really say after a round 2 lose d/c. So I just assume at this point if it happens in between matches it was either of our connections.
Mind you if you rape them the first round and rape them the second, and all of a sudden they run to the far end of the screen and stop fighting then it d/c before you win…well thats another story:bluu:

I’m running off of a wireless, so it likes to spontaneously drop the connection (usually at the start of a round), so I’ve been screwed over by it dropping randomly. Sometimes even when I just won a round. 8(
Been practicing trying to counter Zangeif with my Fei in the training room. I finally go up against a Zangeif user in CE mode (PSN: Seikus) and am successful in countering his lariat spam as well as his EX/Banishing Fist > SPD Tthen he goes and disconnects on me. Seriously? Why against a low tier like Fei?
i just had someone quit on me 3 times…
i was balrog each time, he picked, ken i think, the first time, then he quit, i sent the obligatory “u mad” message
2nd round, he picked vega, and just kept back flipping, when he figured out that wouldn’t work, he quit again, i sent: “cmon punchin bag”
3rd time he was sakura, was just spamming random moves, i kept punishing, and then he quit again, sent: “thats 3 in a row, but this isnt tic tac toe =(”
i got pics of the last 2… when i took my camera out of its case on the first one i dropped it and it hit the A button on my stick… >_<
I don’t bother posting out people who rage-quit, it’s usually not worth my time, imo.
p.s. seeing people “rage-quit” live at a local arcade is rather satisfying and gives me a sweet ego boost…I definitely don’t hate them for doing that, lol.

Usually when someone says something absolutely ridiculous like “rape all women”, I take them completely seriously too. Cause that’s a serious statement, and he wasn’t being ostentatious. Also, ostentatious isn’t defined as “(of a display) tawdry or vulgar”. (was that last one too much?)

I never have people ragequit on me in championship mode really. What I do get are people who after losing round one horribly, immediately turn on limewire or something to make round two completely unplayable to give them a chance to win. This is worse than a ragequit IMO.
Pizwat, who has been called out for quitting already in the thread, does that. Theres another guy, some bunch of random lower case letters that starts with an f that shamelessly uses turbo, he is one of the top 5 grade points too, he does it. One guy, I beat him senseless, some random uppercut scrub ken called NYC REC and some numbers. This is in G1 mind you. Anyway I beat him senseless one game and move on. Later on that night, he joins my room again and he still has a 4 bar connection on the matchup screen. So I hit start, the game runs perfect for 5 seconds then it becomes literally completely unplayable. I’m talking like 4 seconds of input lag and hopping and warping all over the place. So I lose to the guy.
It’s fairly obvious to me that the dude purposefully fubar’d his connection as soon as the game started so that he could beat me. Not much you can do about it either except just avoid those people in the future.
Also a big shout out to you geniuses who join my game that have one or two bars and just hit ready. I am sitting there in fight request mode practicing combos on the computer and you interrupt me with this nonsense, forcing me to kick you and waste my time. And an even bigger shout out to the ones that join my game every single night, same people, one-two bar, still joining my game even though I’ve kicked them 3x a night every night for 3 weeks. You would think they’d remember my name by now and not bother. But no I guess that they think that tonight is the night that I decide that I feel like losing to some dude because I can barely move. Do people actually accept these one and two bar games? Who is accepting these games that motivates these douchebags to even waste my time trying? It’s really annoying having to kick 5 two bar dudes before I can actually play a match.
Also alot of them, after I kick them, feel the need to come back immediately just to make an angry face at me. I guess they think that I won’t kick them that time, cause they made the angry fucking face. Some opt for the sad face. Either way those people are retarded. I even got some hatemail from some french dude who I repeatedly kicked for having 2 bars calling me a pussy in really incoherent broken english. Maitre shifu or something similar.

I have experienced a fair amount of rage quits and you don’t start from the beginning, you start where you were left off, so if you made it to the finals and someone rage quit on you, next match you go back to finals again…
