Yes, I tend to mash start between rounds which is about the only time I’ll get discs. I read somewhere that it causes sync issues by doing this.
I had a bunch of DCs over the last few days in player matches…not sure if they were deliberate by the other guy or just random internet failsauce.
To anyone who fought me and we got DC’d: It wasn’t deliberate on my end and I am always ready for a rematch.

lol my D-pad caved in on me during a championship mode match…I couldn’t move to the right lmao. I won anyway then lost the next match because my opponent actually managed to cross me up 
robrunner gave my friend a good ragequit and ragekick tonight. I was amused.

So how did he ragequit exactly? because he ducked right before the disconnect, i don’t think he could have gotten to the quit option that fast after guide button.
Turning off the 360? You can do that with a toe/other hand/get a friend to do it. 
Played one of the most aggressive Ryu users I’ve ever met in a Ranked match (was FADC’ing blocked SRKs, switching up his blockstrings and extremely tight on his links/zoning) last night. First two rounds were going perfectly smooth with no lag or anything not to mention he bested the first two rounds against me. 3rd round starts and all of a sudden a DC. My first reaction was, “Wait, Why?!” I run off of a Wired Connection and I know I didn’t DC. Even though it looked like a serious DC on my part. Sent him a message without delay.
Me: "Dude, don’t know what happened but I didn’t DC. Please rematch!“
Him: Don’t sweat it. It was me most likely, I’m running off of a wireless connection. Definitely rematch.”
So we rematched after a few unsuccessful DC’ing and finally had a full awesome 5 round high energy and what looked like it was extremely choreographed fight.

The multimedia remote (the infrarred one) can turn the 360 instantaneously at the press of a button, instead of having to pull up the guide to log out to the dashboard or holding it down to bring the power off menu.
I always assume they use that when they drop. I mean, we are dealing with professionals here!
