Ragequitters be damned - The Bads Loser Wall of Shame

I made it in

hope the guy posts my reply :lovin:

A guy named corporate x uses that lag switch shit with vega. 5 green bar connection, first round runs perfect and he gets raped. At the start of the 2nd round till the end of the game he started magically lagging like crazy and playing like a real pro in that shit.

No, merely made me laugh a little bit as people like you and your frame of mind still seem to exist.

Hmmm… Last night I played my first game against a Ryu, the match had just started and he caught me with SRK, the match pauses and disconnected…

I msg’d my opponent asking what happened right after (noticed he wasn’t offline) so I wondered. Didn’t get a response back, but after that match, all my matches were lag filled affairs. So much so that by the end, I was convinced that the disconnect was on my side: my ISP likely had issues last night.

So anyone I played last night and lagged (or disconnected), I’m sorry my ISP decided last night was the perfect night to have problems with their network.

I played a Ryu last night that quit on me right when I was about to beat him in the 3rd round. I messaged him, “Do you always disconnect right when you are about to get beat?”. He didn’t answer back.

Watch on PSN for a guy called “undersable”, a Gouki player with around 13000GP. I gave him the beating of his life and as I was about to finish him off he ragequits on me.

bgs to ykykck. G1 rage quitter. had a fuckin horrible abel.

Just had it happen to me yesterday. Pathetic.

I just had my first REAL ragequit tonight. Their gamertag is **ReyDaB3RS3RK3R **and Chewbacca729.

So I played him in Championship mode first, and beat him by doing MP fireballs against his Zangief. I get a message from him that says “cheap sh!t” (I censored it just in case I’m not allowed to type it). Against my better judgement I message him back “i’m sorry, but if you think you can do better I’ll play against you again”. So we played like 3 player matches, and I still beat him. Then he messages me and says “brb gonna use other account”. I play 3 player matches against him on that, and on the 3rd round he rage quits as I’m about to Ultra him. I’ll need to keep a camera handy for these situations. What I don’t understand is that these were player matches, not ranked.

So I can submit a player review against the first gamertag, ReyDaB3RS3RK3R, but I can’t submit one for Chewbacca729. Is there anything else I can do?

Filing complaints don’t actually do anything, so don’t waste your time on it.

Not much, no… Submitting a “bad review” doesn’t do much in the immediate except make the user less apt to end up in another online match against you (on Xbox Live). Also, if many people complain about the same player, eventually a flag goes off on the XBL servers and some of their monitors start following him around to see if the complaints are justified. If they are, they take appropriate action: temporary ban of gamertag on XBL, IP ban, and finally accound closure.

Recently, MS has revealed that they will label “cheaters” with a caption and special icon that clearly identifies them as such for all to see.

I wish there was a “frequent disconnection” report in the choices for bad rep, instead of just lacks skill, too good or poor gameplay…

Well, out of all the people who have reviewed me, over 90% has avoided me, so this might explain why I always have a hard time looking for matches online (especially matchmaking games)

JUST had a Sagat ragequit on me on CM mode about 15 mintues ago. Name was “Xx IR3ap3r xX” (why do most ragequitters have the X’s in their names?). Dude was Sagat and I was Sakura. Guy was your typical Sagat player, doing nothing but Tiger Shots for almost the entire match, while I, of course kept cool and worked my way through his maze. Was beating him rather easily with the mere Sak basics, and then, as I hit him with an EX Shunpu that would’ve ended the match he drops. I then message him, calmly explaining to him that he doesn’t lose points in G2, and that there was no need for him to ragequit on a mere schoolgirl, to which he messages me back blaming the connection. Trust me, that connection was fine throughout the whole fight. No lag spikes and no constant hiccups. Just his abrupt drop. Seriously. I don’t think I’m that stupid, am I?

I lost a fight in C-mode earlier today and got disconnected at the exact moment I got KO-ed. Turns out someone on another computer went on Youtube at the time which sapped my connection. It happens once in a while, but it looks like such an obvious ragequit that I don’t even defend myself from hatemail that follows.

Damn I just got a 1% disconnect from going into the dashboard AFTER a match but before it saved. :frowning:

lol someone is insecure :stuck_out_tongue:

lmao how would YOU reply if you got legit DC’d right when you lost. You think they’re gonna believe you? pfft

This is where you and I differ. I couldn’t care less if someone thought I DC’d in a legit fashion or an illegitimate one. I’ve learned over the years that video games aren’t something to stress over. Your reputation as a human being isn’t on the line…your imaginary gamertag is.

First off, I love this thread.

Secondly, I guess it depends on what message you are trying to convey. I’m playing to have fun and hopefully get better. I usually message someone after a particularly good battle, whether I win or not, and comment positively. If I were in your place, I would just reply back, explain what happened, and offer a friendly rematch. I can’t make them believe me, but hopefully offering the rematch might be good enough for them too. Most people just wanna win, and if you offer a fair rematch they sort of can’t complain.

I had a Cammy rage quit on me the other night in championship mode

One round each, I was heading for a perfect with Abel, c.fp xx lk.roll and canceled into a super… and he quit.

Whats even worse - he wasn’t bad at all, it was a pretty good game till that point. Just sent a message “Lame dude, Nice dc” No reply either.
