It’s true what someone said a page or two back. The list is getting to be pretty good and actually (surprisingly) useful as regular quitters have been caught out many times, ie: guiltylondon at the no.1 spot. The more you quit the more likely you are of getting in the top 20 or so.
I never really considered this before while I was defending it’s place as good for a laugh… But let’s be honest, it’s a bit of an embarrassment to anyone who finds themselves as one of the highest ranked cheaters/quitters.
P.S. It’s already been proved that the site is NOT pointless, seeing as many people use it and enjoy it, just look how much discussion there is about it here.
Regarding the arguments I was getting into earlier: Once someone could no longer defend his being lame by regularly quitting and he desperately tried to change the subject into some sort of “It’s my right by the first amendment - I’ll say what I like, it doesn’t matter if (you think) I’m wrong!!” rant …I gave up, there was nothing left to prove! 
Yeah but do you really think that the top players on PSN or Live are going to say “Oh ya caught me! I guess i’ll just give up my habits and relinquish 1st place because i’m so embarrassed!”? Of course they aren’t.
All we have done with this list is show the rest of the loser kiddies exactly what it takes to be number 1 on either of those boards. Obviously you cannot reach the top spot by playing fair and so you’ve illustrated that there is only one alternative.
At least before it was all speculation but now with video and photo evidence we are proving how these “Winners” operate and therefore proving that cheaters do prosper. At least in the world of Street Fighter BP.

Well, for the people who support this list, I have a question:
Do you remember every name on this list, or do you have a print-out on your lap whenever you sit down and play? Because otherwise, I don’t know how you can make any real use out of it.
I’m not saying it’s a dumb idea or anything, but from my experience, the only real effective counter to ragequits are your own personal experience. If you’ve fought BlackFlameX (made up name…I’m not speaking against anyone who may happen to have that tag), and he dropped on you, then it’s a simple matter for you to never play the guy again. However, when it comes to a massive list of droppers, I personally can’t remember more than a few names. While that is something of an accomplishment, it’s far from effective.
Besides, I just take ragequits as a means of forfeit. If you want to give me a win so that I can move on to the next person and not waste anymore of my time, I’m all for it. Thanks muchly.
I suppose you could print the list and then take an hour or two to add each person to your blocked list. You would of course have to do this once a week and still would do very little to stop the quitters.
If someone does make a blacklist, could you please add my name to the list? I’d really rather not play half the sad nagging wankers on this forum. Especially the ones who take such a list for granted.
Considering the fact that you don’t have your PSN/Gamertag listed, it doesn’t matter anyway.

But its equally satisfying when they say “that’s not me, my name is photoshopped in” or “he was a bad player and I wanted to quit, I just didn’t realize it until the last second of the last round”
These people don’t spend hours every day boosting for their own private satisfaction. They do it for the recognition. When that gets taken away, and the community turns on them, its very effective.

lol i hope i’m not on this list. I’m always disconnecting while playin SF 4 and i have tried everything on my router to fix it. Usually after my connection disconnects i’ll be angry and at times i’ve had the player i played against insult me for ragequitting so its like a double face slap!

Super nerds been pulling for over a month. I play em every now and then just to see if hes improved and/or taking his losses.
Hes some how winning, prolly boosting, to get up into the 5500-6000 range then discs when ever hes gonna lose points. And hes god awful. Not like bad execution or so. Just no strategy. Spams air fireballs. 2 green hands. First goes under first fireball since he apparently doesnt know theres other options other than Fierce trajectory. then the 2nd hand hits em. then he teleports whether your doing anytihng or not, so you can jump back before hes up and he will teleport to your loving spd arms. Then says you need eat a bag of dicks.

The only recognition i’ve ever seen on these forums is in the form of threads like this one. As far as i’m aware there is no “Congrats to the top BP player” threads anywhere. So in fact your giving these losers the ONLY recognition they’re ever going to get by adding them to the list. Seems counter productive to me.

I don’t think anyone is handing them out, you have to pay good money for a decent bag of dicks. Also, I don’t think it’s convenient for anybody… least of all those who’s dicks have become part and parcel of said bag.

Now this is where the site’s being taken too seriously. It’s just a laugh. No one’s expecting it to FIX street fighter IV, so why point that out?
What it does do however, is expose players who quit regularly - and if some of those drop outs also happen to be at the top of the SFIV leaderboard, then their claims of talent are proven to be void.
To be honest, even this is taking it a little seriously. Why the constant attacks at the guys site? - if it does nothing else, it just provides a small “last laugh” for those who’ve been quit on, people want to use it, so why the slander?
To answer the often asked question of “do you remember or keep a paper list of everyone who’s ever quit?”…
No. Of course not. I don’t even remember any of the many people who have quit on me. But I do remember the name of the number 1 quitter. In that, the site has already acheived more than I ever expected it to.
