I don’t care about BP. And I’ve quit less then 1% of the losses I’ve taken.
I do suck though.
Regardless, its funny when someone comes in here and pretends to be on the moral high-ground.
I’m not ashamed at all, to say that I’m human, and sometimes, I get angry. I would be ashamed if I went around on internet threads berating others to make myself feel better though…
Cool blog OP, thanks for putting in the work. The hate mail is hilarious, and this is only a videogame, I can’t imagine how those people would act after losing a real-life sports match.
There is no way to prove anyone has ragequit, so if someone thinks “why the hell am i on that blog?” and asks to be removed they obviously think they haven’t done anything wrong, but you then tell them they have to say sorry for something they didn’t do? I think the blog is degrading, and what you’re asking to be removed is again degrading.
Like if i saw you kissing a 9 year old girl and made a picture, and posted it on a blog saying “this is a child molestor” and you mail me and say “hang on? it’s my friggin sister you idiot” and instead of me saying “oh in that case i’ll take you off” i say “well prove it”
I don’t have to justify anything. It’s a video game. If i’m not enjoying the umpteenth game against the SAME CHARACTER in a game with 25+ characters then too bad.
I couldn’t give a shit if people ‘ragequit’; there are far worse things in this game that haven’t yet inspired the sad people of the internet to post up websites about.
This isn’t about ‘proving’ anything. It’s me saying what I think. People can either agree or they can disagree. Is that so hard?
This website seems too full of people’s internet testosterone all trying to shout about how great they think they are by putting other people down. That doesn’t teach me anything.
If you have something to say then say it; if not then don’t.
I totally rage quit on a guy last night. I was kinda tired and shouldn’t have been playing the game anymore. But I decided “aww just 1 more…” and so I get in this game and I’m playing a Balrog and he’s not bad but he definitely liked running away. So he’s got me down to like 40% and he’s at like 50% of life and then…
Time Over! He shortened the rounds and I didn’t even freaking notice.
Fucker. I just turned my shit off after that. Later I sent a message saying sorry for pulling but I think you’re gonna piss a lot of people off with those short rounds. And he replied saying I was weak and should learn to play a different game
Ok, but what is to stop all the people who purposely disconnect from contacting me and telling me to take down their post? There wouldnt be any posts on the blog.
My reasoning is this: You are going to be playing SF4 online anyways, why not just play against the guy who claims you disconnected on him. It takes like 2 minutes, and that’s the end of it. I find people who have accidentally dc’d as far more willing to do this than people who purposely do.
Now I’m not saying you are wrong, but what would you suggest as a better way of handling these kinds of situations?
oh get over yourself. read what i said properly *then *reply.
why don’t you start a website about the people who sit in lobbies without readying up because they are away fromt heir console - while hosting matches.
or start up a website about how crap capcom’s netcode is
or listing all the people who play Sagat, a vastly overpowered character. Which is worse?
On another note, I ran into oberfurher yesterday and got some pretty awesome messages just like the ones already up on that blog. I’ll take pictures as soon as I can.
