Just played championship with “SuperNerd21” on XBL and he quit in the 2nd round when he had around 10% health left on his Akuma and he was dizzy as well. He wasn’t able to land a single hit on me during the entire 2nd round and he has 14% DC. Wrote a message to him saying “ragequit ftw”, he replied with “sucks for u”. I answered with “only shows that you are a coward that can’t take a loss like a man” and he just replied with “oh well”.
Keep away from this guy, the high DC should have been a dead give-away that he wasn’t to be trusted.
I get so many bad connections I jump at yellow or green. I actually thanked him for the rage quit, and told him good game because he did okay before I just started STing every jump in he did, which I mean I’m happy to be able to do, I have trouble with players who keep on top of me hard. Then he replied “u act like i care” which I didn’t! I just wanted to thank him for giving me my first rage quit after a long hiatus.
Can we please stop throwing scrub around when it seems to have lost it’s meaning by this point. Or better yet just put this petty bullshit aside and actually get back to the thread instead of mudthrowing?
Yes, by all means rise above this mudthrowing and get back to posting pics no one gives a shit about as extremely spurious evidence to unexplained circumstances.
i admit ragequit myself like everyone here have done but sometimes when you use zangief it gets frustrating fighting again Seth (i got the gief icon with the emblem “spin it again” lol) even more worsen fighting against a turtle Vega thinking he can escape all the time with backflip , i love vega players but then turtle ones are crap i like the ones that jump all over me ! heeheh
Here’s a little tip for you (being a Vega player myself)…you can throw him the moment his toes hit the floor off a backslash that and he’s easy to catch up to with nonstop backslash.
Men yesterday i got a vega player doing that shit , he hit me and then run away and wall jumping , what i do in a lot of these cases is throw him about like you say but i always send then a gg msg atleast there not using the usual ones.
I think the only repetitive thing I do against people is Sagat players, I like throwing out the Izuna vortex on them. There are ways to get around it but I just pretty much wait to see if they pick up on it. If I have a one-up I will fuck around and actually make ‘mistakes’ to see if they get it.
I just had an amusing message with “Novice Bison” after getting a perfect on Gouki with him. Bleh, they sucked, jump back air fireball, sweep sweep sweep, jumpback air fireball, teleport.
See above. I am really surprised how one out of ten posts in this thread reads like a Stormfront.org post about the media.
People rage quit, hell, I did it a few times when I started playing the game. If losing pisses you off, turning off the console to avoid seeing big letters that say “YOU LOSE” provides some kind of immediate relief. It’s a very human and understandable thing, people do it all the time. However that is no reason to not try to have a laugh about it. Maybe through that people will kind of realize how ineffectual it is.
I did it, and I stopped, because it really just is a ridiculous fucking thing.
Only you get the disconnect msg , if its a network problem i think both players get the msg ; when someone ragequit well they obviously turned there system off or whatever so they not getting any a msg apart from when you start champion again it will say that your last match didnt finish so its going to reset
The one thing that irritates me the most, is that I get the message “Connection has been lost with the other player” Then I have to start again on Championship mode…but my DC rate doesn’t go up from 0%.
It makes me think “Right if my connection dropped, it meant I would have a DC rating right?” It’s happened to me a few times now and it’s really confusing me XD
This “connection has been lost message…” and the following reset is really annoying. Got that shit two times in a row when joining the final match… It’s known for a long time now but Capcom simply doesn’t give a ish about a patch or sth…
Actually the answer is yes. If you turn off your router/modem/pull the network cable out of your console/etc/etc. you will both get the “Connection lost” message and you can make the other one look like a RQ if you want. If you think turning off your console/hitting alt-f4 on PC is the only way of quitting you aren’t thinking it through. Hell there’s even people (on PC at least, don’t know about consoles) who can ragequit a match without raising their DC ratio, without losing their CP, and even without losing their position in the championship.
