I’d assume so since I found a friend in Championship mode. Their D/C rate was 10%.
I grilled them a new one after the game about it XD
Other than that, I’ve started kicking people from the lobby now if their DC rate is higher than 3 at most. Even then I’m still shaky because I’m sick of trusting people with a D/C rate thinking "Maybe theirs is because why mine used to be 3% (Used to have a REALLY shitty connection that would just drop until I begged my mother to upgrade and I’d pay it)"
But often it just turns out they go “D/C!!” I generally ask why they do it, if they say their connection just died, I ask if they want to play again. Otherwise bleh.

Most game companies have some sort of warranty service for scratched discs. It usually is anywhere from 5 to 15 dollars for a replacement. I remember Black Isle used to be 5 bucks, and EA is like 15 or 20 bucks.
I dropped a bunch tonight - I don’t take taunts all too well. I wouldn’t quit in CM though that’s a different matter. Because I’m not much good, I have a hard time finding anyone reasonably matched to play against these days. It seems either pros or beginners, SSF4 needs to hurry up.

I generally giggle when I’m taunted if they’re in a losing position. Unless it’s Chun Li. Her English voice PISSES ME OFFFFFFF! Even worse when they’re playing a really shitty Chun and won’t stop abusing her sweep and then overhead jump kick then throwing constantly, really, I thought we were over the bullshit habits within the first few months of the game’s release.
lol i remember one dude was barely winning then he taunted and i caught it, ultra’d and won. i sent him a message after saying “taunt ftl? lol” he never replied.
