One thing I don’t understand, is in the midst of working past rage quitters, seeing them again in the finals of Championship mode, what has Camcom done as far as preventing this? I have never quit a game in the middle of a match, and the other day I was playing a semi-final round and my power goes out (I was winning too 
Anyway, I come back to play and figure, oh well I guess I have to do that semi-final over again. Come to find out, they said I “disconnected inappropriately?” or something like that? And it made me start over from the beginning of championship mode (gave me no points) and gave me 1% disconnect. The 1% went away after a couple of matches but what gives? Is this how it works for ragequitters too? I sure hope so.
I got a picture of a guy that I was absolutely sure ragequit… end of the 3rd round he was dizzy, with no health and I was in the process of landing the final blow. Got my camera out and took a picture and everything… That was when I noticed the flashing red lights on my router 
So i figure he’s some kinda super 1337 h4x0r who was able to disable my internet connection remotely to save himself from losing in a player match… ya… that’s what happened…

Metssuru Same as above but I sent them a message since I was about to EX FBA > Izuna for game. I asked what their problem was and got the amusing response of “White people.”
This is probably why giving people with a DC% as high as 7 a chance is a bad idea.
Man, some of you guys that are like “U RAGEQUIT I REPORT U HEUHEUHEUEHEUHUEHU” are worse than the people who do ragequit. Some guy messaged me “ggs man ur pretty GDLK, I can do 1 more”, so he beats me and I wait like 8 seconds after the KO, alt+f4, and go play BFBC2. I log in the next day and I have messages from him saying he reported me to rage-quitters.com and shit. Really?
I went to that rage quitters site just to see if I was on there because there have been a number of times that the game disconnects through no fault of my own when I was losing. I wasn’t there but I see some players I’ve played before that are on there. I know some of them didn’t quit on me when I beat them. Basically maybe it’s not what you think it is, but who knows really. When someone accuses me I’ll try to work things out with the guy since it really does look like I quit from his perspective. Funny thing is that the guy I mentioned above from my last post in this page has a youtube page with a short list of SF4 videos. I was actually kind of hoping that one of my matches was on there even if it was the one that made me look bad just so I could take a look at it again.
actually i usally ask when someones “rage quits”. like “what happened? did you lose the connection?” and if they say yeah ill ask if they wanna play again. if they dont reply or its fairly obvious that they rage quit because i was getting a perfect on them or they only landed one hit.
ragequitting honda. This guy was absolutely terrible.

I hate when people quit in champ mode, I had it happen twice, once I was in semi final match and cuz the last game didnt finish properly I had to start again. Its such a selfish petty thing to do.

Hmmm, funny… the Cheshire grin upon DC-ing on the ultimate hit of a back-throw > EX Tatsu FADC Hado > Ultra after being throw-spammed for the entirety of the prior two rounds seems to fly in the face of my apparent ‘loser’ status. 
That’s logic not dissimilar to a 13 year-old boy gaining admittance to a floating Shangri La where he’ll be fawned upon by ‘72 virgins’ in return for martyrdom. :rolleyes:
Usually you get put back to where you were after being quit on but a few times its put me back to the beginning. I don’t know if its PSN getting confused but it gives the message “you must start again since the last game did not conclude properly” or something like that. pretty annoying.
its no big deal if your on there…half the guys on there are innocent or they had to just get up and leave and turn off there xbox…example
My dog chewed thru my water line to the toilet and I was waiting for a challenger,(created game) so I got up, turned off the water, beat my dog, pissed off so went to fridge to get a beer and look for grub. When I had settled down, I went back to the couch, played some matches for 30 minutes or so.
Go to turn off my game and I notice that I have 5 messages, I check it an apparently some guy was having a hissy fit that I wasn’t pressing the ready button, calling me a coward, making vulgar comments about my mother, pretty much acting like a pissed off 13 year old.
Another time my wife gets in a car accident (fender bender, but I didnt know that at the time) so I jump up turn off the xbox (mid fight, one that I was murdering my opponent) to handle my situation. Get back on later that night and yes, again, another dude who must of just got his period. A voice message telling me I’m such a loser and that he will report me or whatever…
seriously, guys take this game way too seriously. Arent games supposed to be fun?

Furthermore he managed to participate in two consecutive CM-Finals.
So we got an obvious cheater that fakes GP and CP. And he has found a way to avoid the CM group matches.
Check replays on PC from last night if you don’t believe.
the kaiserryu should of picked ryu. funny thing the game was moving he waited long to pick the stage and in game the lag was goiong on and off so i don’t know if he was adjusting it at will. still didn’t help him though.

Has 12% d/rate which I didn’t notice until I’d clicked ready and went “Bollocks…” They play a really really bad Dhalsim and will ragequit if you beat them. I’ve played them 3 times just to make sure the D/C-rate wasn’t just because of other reasons, he beat me once and on the other two that I found and won the game, he D/C-ed. When I called him up on it I got the message back of:
“WHAT?! I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING FAAAAAAGGOOOOOOTTTT!!”
I just basically replied with “Aside the rage quit? With a D/C percentage as high as yours it’s kinda hard to believe you wouldn’t.”
I realize that pointing out the obvious to ragequitters instead of trying to flame bait stops them replying.
You think 12% is bad I had a guy challenge me the other night with 23% disconnect rate, that means he quits like every 5 matches, I kicked him, wish I could remember his name I’ll post it if I come across him again.
Bloooooody hell that’s a bad D/C. Mine’s 2% at the moment, should be 1% since I quit against someone because it was just stuck on the victory pose screen for their character for 10 minutes and it unfortunately got reflected back on me after I sent them like 3 messeges with “Helloooo you going to go back to the lobby or what?”
It’s funny, I think the guy learned after because I found him again today. For shits and giggles I played against him and won (again) and surprisingly didn’t get D/C-ed on.
Though here’s an amusing one from this morning because I’ve decided to play around with Bison (Wish I could grab the other one off my phone since at the time I couldn’t find my camera because it was an amusing quit.):

hey wait i can vouch for bad d/c rates at one point i was around 21-23 d/c rate my problem was that i moved the 360 1 night and got a ring around my cd i couldnt download it to the harddrive and certain levels would give me the disk unreadable sign (under the bridge level seth’s stage jungle day time yada yada yada) so when i go into a champ match or ranked im like hey umm if you can hear me dont…pick…the…GAWD DAMNIT!! so if you happen to run into me just know im not quitting ijust have a bad cd
