My first ragequit demon ^_____________^
Man. . . we should get a HD tv thread going on cause some of ya’ll’s tvs are pieces of art!
Do you guys ever submit your stuff on the rage quitters website?
I’ve put in a lot, but most of the pics I see here aren’t on it. Maybe some of you guys haven’t read the first page to get the link. http://www.rage-quitters.com/
Here it is anyway.
I’m on the front page!! WOOT WOOT! I need to switch off Manycam.
You’re right… except about the “losing” bit.
Like I said, this is not what I am concerned with here. These entire forums are fraught with winning methodology for every character in practically every conceivable situation. ‘Ragequitters be damned - The Bads[sic] Loser Wall of Shame’ is not one of these discussions.
I’m starting to believe the concept of what I’m positing here is beyond the scope of your linear game-playing mind.
Yeah. I recently switched to Feilong, and his pokes are unbelievable. I bet I have people going “WTF!!!” “I can’t hit him!!!”
He’s got a great anti-air and even an overhead kick! He’s great.
I hate when people tell me I’m lucky that I won.
true, sometimes I DO get lucky, but it’s only cause the idiot I’m playing fucked up and left himself punishable.
Other times I win because I’m better, then they send me a “YOU GOT LUCKY” message.
I hate them people. . .

had a d/c of 16% so i taunted at the end and he did not fail me
Hmmm, funny you say that, because you have a very limited conception of how the game is actually played. In fact, your post doesn’t even say/argue anything. It’s pretty much: “Meh, you’re too stupid to understand my superior knowledge that doesn’t help me win the game, but helps me do complex moves that look cool and make me feel cool, but I lose anyway.”
i was actually playing champ mode earlier and this guy i boxed him into a corner and either at the start of the second round his controller died or he said “fuck this” and just stood there. i sent him a message that said “wth?” and he didnt reply so i dont know.
lol yeah but sometimes that’s a legitimate comment to make online such as: “Your lucky the lag fucked up my punish and allowed you to mash out point blank ultra” I cannot stress how annoying that is. :bluu:
I’m playing championship mode couple of minutes prior to this post, i decide to join a game and this guy to my surprise has 10% disconnect ratio.
I decide to keep playing see what’s going to happen, as i expected the lag is horrendous felt like i was playing underwater i couldn’t anti air with Balrog, couldn’t even punish his random psycho crushers.
I finally adapt to the situation, and this is what he sent me.
@ HvE: Yeah, I think we’re on the same wavelength, just viewing things from a different perspective, is all. Adaptation is the ultimate form of skill. I just don’t think simply “winning” is. But enough about that, we’re here to talk about RAGEQUITTERS gosh-darnit! And I had a couple of them this last week. I don’t know why as I’ve hit some kind of wall lately where none of my moves are coming out, none of my rushdown tactics stick and my opponents all seem to be psychic…
Anyways, I played a Blanka player on XBL last week called Invert. Basically, I was (somehow) countering everything he did. He tried the “blanka staple” of beginning the match with a slide, I sweeped it. Then I dive kicked him + bnb. I jumped back baiting another slide. This time LK dive kick while he tried the slide (again) and another bnb. And that was it for Invert. Exit stage left!.
The other one happened tonight. Goes by the name Nubian Messaiah, who played Ryu. I took him out rather easily in the 1st round. 2nd round starts and POOF! disconnection… Now maybe this one’s “legit”, but the fact that I beat him quickly in the first, coupled with the fact that he was a 25K GP player and that he lost so easily in the 1st round to my crappy Akuma. I don’t know… Pic’s not uploaded to the site yet, but when it is I’ll update this post.
EDIT - Here it is: PIC
Yep, happened to me today. lost 132BPs. . . lol. I lost out from pure unluckiness. I missed my ultra twice, and the DP Spamming ken beat me because everytime I’d try to punish his DP, he’d spam another one and get me. I didn’t know what do do. so I lost.
Yeah, i mean this is totally what happens online all the time. I was fighting a bison today and was gonna end the match with my punish on his whiffed crusher, then i get a huge lag spike after i fadc akumas bnb and fuck up the shaku when he has a sliver of health left, and i lose.
I was playing against a decent Sagat and I was trying out Fei Long(Just started using him less than a week ago) and I got close to beating him 3-4 times, but always lost on the third round somehow. I messaged him asking him for tips and that Sagat is a really hard match for me and he replied with “actually according 2 japan fei is top tier he has really good normals and footsie”. I don’t know why, but for some reason that message really, really bothered me, lol.
That mathc is so annoying for me… I walk Sagat into the corner and he just Tiger Knees his way out…
me too!!! It’s like you’re writing a post saying what I was about to say! Word for word! I JUST started with Fei. I had the toughest time with a pretty good sagat. In the corner he tiger knees out!! We’ve gotta work on this to kick some ass bro.
Winning is easy in Street Fighter IV. Why do you think the game is so popular? Why do you think I and those over 15 years of age have so little concern or respect for it?
Playing with SKILL and winning on the other hand is another story entirely.
Yeah. Sounds like you hit a Chinaman or something…
why bads loser and not bad losers
I need to apologise to somebody out there who I played against in champ mode yesterday. I think I was fighting a Balrog or Ken and midway through the second round my SE fightstick just got stuck in down position. The stick itself was in neutral but my characters was just crouched and I couldnt move forward/back/up etc. Anyway, I got royally destroyed. Its only after the fight was over that I disconnected and connected the stick again that things started working again. Thats the first time thats ever happened.
So to whomever I fought yesterday, please accept my apology. I aint no rage quitter, even if I’m getting perfected.
I would be more inclined to believe that if it came from a player who wins. I’ve come across hundreds of players with that attitude (many in arcades and home gatherings) and not one has been a good player. It cannot be a coincidence. You formed that opinion after realizing that you’re not capable of winning.
