lol you negged me for this? I imagine in real life no one wants to spend any time with your arrogant stubborn bullshit.
Obviously you dont even know what the fuck you are talking about. Because you disagree with you taking this too seriously yet you are the only one bitching about it.
So just to recap, you are taking it too seriously, you are incorrect in saying you are not as proven by your rants and continually coming back to troll this topic by yourself.
And based on the other negative posts Ive seen, you are a complete douche.
I would say not to read too much into the disconnects between the rounds. It’s a problem I’ve been noticing that I think has something to do with SFIV’s crappy netcode. I get disconnect messages between rounds and after the fight kind of frequently and all I really play are player matches. After one disconnect, the other guy obviously saw the same message as me, 'cause he sent me a message saying that I was scared or whatever. Didn’t make sense seeing that he won one and I won one, but eh…
I wouldn’t worry about him so much. I don’t think you’re gonna get anywhere arguing with this guy, since when you bring up a valid point, he’s just gonna say something like, “You’re wrong. Believe what you want, but you’re wrong,” without an argument to back any of what he’s saying. Couple that with the fact that your discussion will probably end with him launching a volley of personal insults.
I would say just ignore him. We’ll keep laughing at pictures of people being bad sports, and he can keep making too much out of it.
here’s what you don’t understand… nobody is raging @ ragequitters. we’re giggling at their expense. if a couple of them are legit DCers, so be it. who cares?
nobody is being demonized or ostracized or whateverized. pictures are being posted on an internet forum that make a few people laugh. that’s all.
In that case wouldn’t it take time to reconnect to XBL/PSN then?
Don’t be so quick to judge, this game does seem to have some connection issues and the only time you can really be certain of a ragequit is when it comes with hatemail.
Lets face it. When the opponent has no where left to run and quits, you just know the times when it was intentional with 99% certainty. You can see it coming half the time. How many matches lose connection at a non convenient time? In my Experience, far less than 1 in 100. Therefore, with the astronomical increase in connection losses at convenient times, well, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist do you?
The pictures are worth a laugh to look at and we obviously get a small, pathetic sense of satisfaction by “exposing” our quitter to the internet. Kind of like winning the last laugh in the most insignificant possible way :-). …But hey, that’s what makes it funny, just a very human thing to do, it causes no more harm than a little giggle.
Normally, the guy who quit will never know, but in the lucky occasions they do, it just makes it all the more satisfying. As for the “danger” of an unfair accusation? What? Come on! “Mistrial”??? “OJ Simpson”??? God help you if your going to debate the political consequences of accidental drop outs and false allegations! It just makes it more funny if an innocent drop out does come across that way.
I cannot believe an issue so insignificant is being debated so seriously (10 pages!).
It’s just a fun site, that people enjoy using. Well done Vanilla! Would be cool to see some more of the funniest pictures on this thread from now on.
PS: Last Friday, the Mrs and me were going out. She was moaning at me because the taxi was already waiting outside while I was having “one last go” of SFIV. It was an very close Blanka/Blanka battle that went down to a manic 5th round… I was building a decent health advantage when, right at the climax, the bloody woman turns off the TV and then the X-Box!! Grrrr!! …Lol! The opponent will have landed a few hits and then seen me drop out. He probably thinks to this day it was a “ragequit” …Ahh well, it’s just a laugh isn’t it?
“it” = the condemned rising up in arms?
…Err, as you are far above having a sense of humour, I’ll let you in on a secret. “It” is the fun part.
You too? Mine was hassling me during a simple player match before leaving.
CMON CMON CMON CMON. And stands in front of me, then kills it. I had the courtesy, although a good 6 hours later, to message em an apology. looks bad when you win 5 in a row, and once you start losing, to pull in a player match. he said no prob.
Sure enough the wife forgot something and I had to wait around another 5 minutes.
Yeah, I gotta agree…Boxer is a very tough match for any of the shotos…but akuma’s tiny health bar makes it INSANE to try and stand toe to toe with him.
Its the same for Guile…he pretty much has to turtle against Boxer or he can easily get raped.
Boxer is just a very tough character…deals a ton of damage, can pass through fireballs, has insane AA moves…he is no joke.
FWIW: DSP played that match exactly how he should have. He even busted out a dive kick, which I always like to see, as its one of Akuma’s most underused tools.
It’s the perfect opportunity. Someone happens to tag you with an ultra, you know it’s KO, and you can send a big “yeah well fuck you” by turning your 360 off.
