Ok i’ll bite,as far as damaging your unit it depends on how you do it,most people just plug pull and that can damage your device.
But the largest reason they are hated so much is they know they are going to lose,and rather then take the loss and play again,they quit in a fit of rage,like they are some ultimate fighting game master and they cannot possibly lose.
